Yep, here's an article by Carolyn Swicegood. She has a website that has lots of info about feeding eclectus parrots. Many herbs and flowers are safe for birds but do ask about ones you aren't sure of because some are not good and some are even toxic. Dill is safe. Annie The way I find this info is to type in parrots and dill (for instance.) Lots of pages appear although some will not pertain to dill (the herb) but Mr. Dill. |

Oh lucky you as I have the dandelions, but since they grow in the front lawn and I use fertilizer, I have to pass them up... In their flight I don't use anything, no fertilizer, pesticides or anything but they have all sorts of flowers to chew up adn I end up pulling the dandelions as weeds... Too2 |

Just call me an all natural gal.I don't use any pesticides or fertilizers in my yard .So anything picked around here is 100% safe .Heck I don't even use house cleaners anymore everything is vinegar and baking soda, did you know that to keep from having static in your laundry just throw in a small piece of aluminum foil in the dryer with your cloths only I would know that hehehehe |

No I didn't know that about the foil ... and the heavy duty foil is great to keep celery wrapped to stay fresh in the refrig... what would foil do to prevent the shock from door handles?... Too2 |

If kitties or dogs visit your yard, don't pull the dandelions. My dogs are in the back yard and 6 neighbor dogs are in the front. I ought to grow dandelions in a pot. You don't suppose they would cast their little selves all over my yard, do you? Nevermind. Annie |
