AAAAAWwwww....how sweet!  Nope, I didn't ferget my durls birdday but I failed to remember ya'll remembering!  She had some extra special loving and smoochies.  She is about the only grey that I know of who thinks she is a Too and demands touching and loving.  She is a touchy feely gal and freely gives it to me although I'm sure she'd be more feely with her beak to others.  You know that grey look....with the slanted eye and come're look.....head down...scritch me right on the neck.....yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.....right there........WHAM!  She'd do it to someone innocent like Bob.  She's not bit me since the day I got her....that first week she nibbled....and held on but not bite with the death grip.  She sticks her widdle head in my hand and pushes up till her head squeezes between my fingers.  That means she wants me to preen her neck feathers.
Of course I had to share favors with miss snotty green horned feathered britches so she wouldn't get her beak all bent of joint.  Tickles has a cute name......but boy she can be down right nasty when she feels left out.  Then laugh.....oh yeah......first yell loudly "OWWWW!!!!"....bite.....then laugh...chuckle chuckle chuckle.  And that innocent look she still has.....like a sweet baby bird....that Aaaaaw....look.....so cute!  Yeah...she's cute but with a bite that will bring you to your knees.
Anyway....they both got lots of attention and I went all out to make a birdy bread in the form of little muffins for them.  They both ate.....and of course fed Meiling all the birdy bread she could want.
