From: MSN NicknameIsaiah·  (Original Message)Sent: 2/26/2004 8:03 AM

I am starting a series of messages on one of the most important subjects in the Word of God, a mystery which I have not heard anyone else fully explain, The Fall of the Old Testament, meaning the fall of the old covenant, the law.

I know there are many who see that the law was done away with; but I have not heard anyone call this what God showed me = “the fall of the Old Testament? There may be many who teach this; I have just not run into them.

It is something which God revealed to me out of the Word. Once you understand this, youwill see it every where you read. You read over it all the time (if you study the Word) but you donot see what is being said; for it is not ‘in the light?yet to you.

For the beginning of this message, I will use the book of Lamentations. This message is all over the Word; but this is the best starting place. I will only do sections of this great message at a time. This will be a very long and continuous message; so I will only type sections of it at one time. Please, everyone of you, take the time to study this in earnest. It is of eternal importance to your soul.

Lamentations 1

1 How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!
2 She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously
with her
, they are become her enemies.
3 Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.

4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
5 Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
6 And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.

7 Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths.
8 Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward.
9 Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself.

10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.
11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.
12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
13 From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

14 The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
15 The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.
16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

17 Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.

18 The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls.
20 Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.
21 They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.
22 Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

Let’s take this book a verse at a time. Do not attempt to ‘judge?this message at the start; instead study it as I find time to do a section; pray for the truth to be opened up to you. Wait and study the next section, etc. until I post all of this book. Then, I will give many more Scriptures proving this message

. This is the most exciting message I know of. I fully believe this is the greatest message given to man since the days of Paul.

Verse one: the city sitting solitary is the Old Testament. Please understand that when I say ‘the Old Testament?I am NOT meaning the written Scriptures called the Old Testament: no, I mean the Old Covenant, which is the Old Testament. The Scriptures contain the Old Testament; but the Testament refers to the Covenant he made with the Israelites under Moses.

’She?became as a widow -- why? Because God forsook her.

Verse two: all her friends dealt treacherously with her, they became her enemies. Who are her ‘friends? The people who once were faithful to the laws - to the old Covenant. These include Peter, James, John, Paul, and all the other New Testament Christians who came out of the law into Grace. Those who were filled with the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost.

Verse three: her persecutors overtook her between the straits --- the straits meant her ‘way?of serving God had been done away with. Her persecutors were the New Testament ministers; the ones mentioned above. Why are they ‘persecuting?her? Because they are fervently trying to bring her people into the New Covenant of Jesus?blood.

Verse four: Her ways ‘mourn -- because God forsook that. None come to the solemn feasts of the OT anymore; it is done away with as far as God is concerned. It is forsaken by God and the true people of God, the Christians. Her ‘gates?are desolate = meaning, no one can now come to God through the ‘gates?or way of the OT covenant. Her priests sigh, because they are not the ministers of God anymore.

verse five: her adversaries are the chief = Paul, Peter, James, and all the other NT ministers. They are her adversaries and they are the chief ones God is now using. Her enemies (them) prosper--- why? Because God is with them---they are the ones now bringing people into the Kingdom of God; they are the ones bearing fruit; not the OT.

Her children went into captivity before the enemy---- who is this enemy? The NT Church. So, ‘her?children were the ones who received Pentecost. Did not Peter say this promise of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost was to your ?children? Did he not say Elias would come and turn the hearts of the ‘fathers?(the OT group) to the Children (the NT group)? Did not Jesus say this was John The Baptist?

So, their ‘children?are those who received the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.

v6--No beauty is left to the OT. Her princes are like harts who find no PASTURE. In other words, there was no longer any ‘spiritual food?in the OT Covenant--- no one could find God here anymore. They have no strength before their pursuers = the NT ministers seeking to convert them to Jesus.

v7---(very important verse)---The adversaries (Peter, Paul, etc)- did MOCK AT HER SABBATHS.

v8---Jerusalem (OT) hath GRIEVOUSLY SINNED; therefore she is REMOVED: all that honoured her despise her, because they see her NAKEDNESS; ( no spirit of God to Cover her sins). She sigheth and turneth backward. She fell backward = those who refused to come into the NT Covenant and forsake the Old Way of the law.

v9--she had no comforter = she did not have the Holy Ghost = which Jesus said was our comforter. Her enemy = Jesus= hath magnified himself.

v11--her people are seeking ‘bread?= truth of Word= (Jesus is the truth = his teachings)---she became vile.

v 12--the Lord afflicted her in the day of his fierce anger = when she refused Jesus and the Holy Ghost = the NT.

v13--He turned her back: he made her desolate.

Isaiah 28:7-18--this tells of the coming Baptism of the Holy Ghost evidenced with speaking in the tongues God had scattered before---those who refused this TRUE REST, v13, fell BACKWARD. That is what is being spoken of here, that she fell backward. She refused the NT.

v20 Her ’bed?is too short; = her resting place - the old Sabbath. Her covering too narrow to cover with = the Law, instead of the Holy Ghost.

v14--God made the strength of the OT Law to fall. He delivered them into THEIR (apostles) hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.

Verse 15:--Notice, this said The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men---- He called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah--

See, here God did this to the OT. HE trod them under foot; he crushed them. Now, I saw something here I had not realized before: that ‘virgin?here is those ‘foolish?virgins. Remember there were two = 5 foolish and 5 wise. One was saved; the other one was lost; But, remember that the foolish ones had, at one time had a light. This is when God dealt with the OT.

v16: This is MIGHTY! “the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: (meaning they did not receive the Holy Ghost, which is the comforter.) “My children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.?

This means the OT children were left; this is set into motion when Jesus wept over Jerusalem and said, “behold, your house is left desolate? They are ‘desolate?because they did not come over into the New Covenant and God left them in their darkness.

v17---This shows again that they did not have the comforter, the Holy Ghost. The LORD commanded that his adversaries (the apostles and disciples) should be round about him; Jerusalem, the law is shown as an unclean woman.

v18---Shows that this OT group rebelled against his COMMANDMENT. Notice that this is a single COMMANDMENT; NOT COMMANDMENTS, AS IN THE TEN.

This is the new commandment of LOVE. They rebelled against this; for it is done by the Spirit of God; not our own works of keeping the law. They wanted to be ‘saved?by their own works; not the finished ‘work?of Jesus at Calvary.

v19---Her ‘lovers?(those who love the law)--the priests and elders of the OT, deceived her. They gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their ‘meat?to relieve their souls. See, there was no longer any ‘food?in that old law; so they starved to death, SPIRITUALLY.

v20--Shows that ‘at home?= in the old Covenant, there is only DEATH.

v21---This is powerful!! Again showing she had no comforter; all her ‘enemies?= the apostles, and NT Christians, are GLAD THAT THOU HAST DONE IT. Yes, they and we are glad that God did away with that old way of serving God; a way where death was the immediate punishment for failing.

BUTTTTTTTTTT---------- BUT---watch this next sentence; it is prophecy for the day when this modern day, polluted church, which rebelled against God the same as that OT bunch did, will be punished as they were: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and THEY, (who? her enemies, the church)---shall be like unto me.

There you have it: prophecy that God will also do away with this polluted church and make her just like he made that old polluted law group.

v22---This is the continuation of that prophecy; this is great:

Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

What was the wickedness of the OT group? Serving idols. So, this is where the church today is polluted: with idols. Even today, that whole church world is messing with idols; they are out there deceiving little children instead of teaching them truth of God--- they take them into idols such as worshipping ‘rabbits? eggs, the rising sun, and all such foolishness. You say, we do not worship these things??? Yes you do!!

Even just honoring these things amounts to worship. All you have to do is just gaze at something in admiration for it to be worship.

Look up the word, ‘regard?and you will see. In Jonah we are told that if you regard lying vanities, you forsake your own ?mercy? So look up ‘regard?and ‘vanities? you will find it is such things as Santa Claus and Easter bunnies and eggs.

You are filled with idolatry. You are full of wickedness. You reject the New Covenant which God loved and in your heart returned back to the Old Covenant, which he hated.

God brought a ‘woman? his wife, Israel--- out of EGYPT --( a type of sin; of evil; or worldliness; and of the LAW). But then, he said, in their hearts they TURNED back into Egypt.

Then he put the Law into a deep sleep (Isa. 29) and took a rib out of that dead law = Jesus in the grave--- and from that he made a ‘woman?= the Church. Jesus was part of the law; he was made under the law; he was part of the OT--- the Esau-- but,------ God took him ‘out?of that old way, put them into a deep sleep (Isa. 29:10)-- and took Jesus out of there = the resurrection.

Jesus did not ‘resurrect?back into that old law; or the OT. No!!! No!!! No. He resurrected into a NEW DAY. He resurrected into the NT. He resurrected into GRACE not LAW.

He became the HEAD of a woman = the Church --- or Eve. The MOTHER OF US ALL --the MOTHER of all LIVING. = those with the life of the Holy Ghost.

But, at the end of this age (the Laodicean Church) once again, they turned BACK in their hearts to the LAW, from which God had delivered them. They turned BACK into Egypt. So they, too, will be left DESOLATE.

When they brought that old LAW into the church, it made them desolate. They set this abomination up in the church and it polluted them as it had polluted that old T. Group.

Back to that last verse: she said my heart is ‘faint? This is meaning she could not go on with God. In Isaiah we are told that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their ‘strength?and not ‘faint? This is what it means = not fall away from the move of God for our day.

People, there is a very important ‘principal?in the whole Word of God. It is this: the elder shall serve the younger.

Remember, that is says ---- God HATED Esau ----- but LOVED Jacob?

God said the elder = Esau, shall serve the younger = Jacob---- but what does it really mean? Much, much more than the lives of these two men.

They are only ‘types?of what this really means. We are to ‘read?the types and shadows of the OT and find the true, spiritual meaning. All of the OT were these types.

Esau represents: Jacob represents:

1. Adam & Satan 1. Eve & Jesus

2. the flesh 2. The Spirit

3. the law 3.Grace

3. Sin 4.Rightneousness

5. the OT 5.N.T

6. the foolish virgins 6. the wise virgins

7. the rebellious 7. the obedient

Read the book of OBADIAH.

This is speaking of ‘Esau?and ‘Jacob? but notice, that this book was written thousands of years after the men Esau and Jacob lived; so this book of prophecy could not be speaking of things concerning those two earthly men. They only ‘type?something: they type the OT and the NT.

Once you this, you will find that this is taught from Gen. through Revelation

Chapter 2 Lametations

02:001 How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

002:002 The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

002:003 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

002:004 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

002:005 The LORD was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

002:006 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

002:007 The LORD hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.

002:008 The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

002:009 Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

002:010 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

002:011 Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.

002:012 They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom.

002:013 What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?

002:014 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

002:015 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

002:016 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

002:017 The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

002:018 Their heart cried unto the LORD, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

002:019 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the LORD: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

Verse one shows God being angry with Israel and casting them down from heaven unto the earth. See, I have explained that the ‘heaven?is the people God is blessing and using at a particular time. Before, Israel was the ‘heaven? but in God’s anger, He cast them out of that ‘heaven?unto being of the ‘earth?group.

Here is a deep revelation; first this happened in the Garden of Eden. We have touched on the fact that there was a whole kingdom of beings in that Garden.

This, at that time was God’s ‘Israel? What went on with the natural, Jacob family was only ‘showing?what went on with all others. God said all things that have ever been were made known in those 12 tribes of Israel. So, they not only show what goes on now; but what went on in the world ‘beyond?

If you study Eze. 28-32, you will see the description of Adam and that race of beings, BEFORE they were thrust out of that Garden. I have touched on this before. They were in an immortal body in that Garden. They were not in human flesh as we are today. They were the beautiful Cherubs in chapter 28.

See, in verse one, that God COVERED them with a CLOUD in his anger. We have had a lot of debate on this word ‘cloud?lately. Here is another proof that it refers to our human flesh.

Isa. 50:3--I CLOTHE the heavens with BLACKNESS, and I make SACKCLOTH their COVERING.

Now, here we find God said he clothed or changed the ‘HEAVENS?= God’s people, with BLACKNESS; = DARKNESS or carnality; and He made SACKCLOTH their COVERING. Sackcloth represents this human flesh. That is why those witnesses in Rev. 11- are said to be clothed with ‘sackcloth? it shows that they are still in human flesh doing their ministry; they were not yet resurrected into glorification.

Isa. 25:7--And he will destroy in this mountain =(the kingdom of Jesus)--the face of the COVERING cast over ALL people, and the VEIL that is spread over ALL nations.

Now, this verse is referring to the same thing: the COVERING cast over ALL people is that CLOUD or human flesh which he clothed Adam and Eve with after they had sinned and He cast them out of the Garden. People say God killed a lamb and clothed them with its skin; nothing could be further from the truth; God put them into human skin = mortality; from which we will be delivered at the resurrection when we will again be given immortality.

002:020 Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

002:021 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied.

002:022 Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.

So, sackcloth, darkness, cloud, covering and veil in these Scriptures all represent this human mortal flesh. See, that if you just ‘read?you will never come to understand the mysteries of the Word. You must learn to compare Scripture with Scripture; this is the only way it can be rightly understood.

Now back to Isa. 25:8-- for proof of what I said:~~~~~~ He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. So, this clearly is referring to the resurrection when he destroys that covering cast over all people.

Isn’t that glorious??? God will take away this mortal, human covering of flesh and give us back the glory of that Garden of Eden race of beings. I want to be one of them!!

Now, back to Lam. 2:2--The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them DOWN to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

Go back to Isa. 47 where God told Babylon to come DOWN and sit in the dust [or ground]--- this is the same thing. This shows God doing away with that old nation of Israel. He was FINISHED with it. He NEVER goes BACK; God does not go back to something he has grown angry at and did away with it.

When he brings it down to the ‘ground?he is finished forever with it. He had no pity on them. He will do the same to this polluted church today. When He spews it out of his mouth, it amounts to the same thing he did here to Israel. He did it to His Israel which was in that Garden of Eden; He did it to the nation of Israel; He did it to Judah; and He will do it to this filthy, idol worshipping church today.

See that He polluted that kingdom; yet so many are still looking for Him to bring it back up again. He will never do it. He said I will do a new thing; He never goes backward and does an old thing.

Lamentations 2:3---He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: {the horn shows the ruling power; so in cutting this off, he did away with any vestige of the nation of Israel = the Old Covenant.

He hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. {the ’fire?of God shows his destruction of a place (such as when he destroyed Sodom)-- see, that it devoured the family of Jacob = old Israel = OT Covenant.

v4--He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand (Jesus)-- as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

This shows God becoming the enemy of Israel. Jesus is God’s right hand--- so Jesus was an adversary to Israel--- their old way - the OT. He destroyed everything they had --- see his fury is always called the ‘fire?of God.

There is no use saying this is not true; unless you are ready to outright call the Word of God a lie. For I am going verse by verse--- I am not making this up; nor am I adding my own interpretation; I am saying exactly what the Word says. God destroyed ancient Israel = Jacob = OT in his anger and fury.

v5---The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

Again this says God was their enemy. It shows he did away with all her palaces = this is shown in other Scriptures to represent the places of assembly. This is also prophecy for what God will do to this evil church. They follow exactly the same pattern as Israel; for indeed they are old Israel in disguise.

What God did to them, he will do to the church. It is actually stated in this book. The palaces are these fancy, expensive church buildings. Someday God will destroy them as he destroyed those of old Israel.

See that he destroyed their strong holds ~~~~~ this was all their law, their priests, their prophets, their kings, any thing that was their power; he left them nothing.

v6--He hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: [showing, this parallels with what went on in the Garden of Eden; same pattern; same events; one word applies to the past, present, and future]. he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: [see that he makes it clear here that this is what he meant? it is not left up to man to figure it out]. the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the KING AND THE PRIEST.

Now, people, read this.

This is the Lord’s Word; not mine. He did away with their solemn FEASTS [so, why do you church people believe in going BACK to their feasts which God did away with from them; much less you!!!!???]. Note that he said he caused their ‘sabbaths?to be forgotten~~~ why? Because he had come to despise this whole thing.

See that it said he had despised their KING AND THEIR PRIEST??? How can you be blind to this?

v7--The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred [hated] his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.

We will see this ~ the ‘stranger; the enemy?a lot throughout this Book; this is the New Testament Apostles and Christians.

See, that this shows that God did away with the altar of old Jerusalem; he hated their sanctuary; he gave their ‘wall?into the hand of the New Testament = the stranger; or their enemy. So, now the ‘wall?of Jerusalem, the City of God, is the New Testament.

v8--The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the WALL to lament; they languished together.

This shows God completely destroying the entire nation of Israel = their whole ‘make-up? [what they are made up of].

v9-- [Take special note of this verse]~~~~~~ Her GATES are sunk into the GROUND;

Gates are the ENTRANCE into a place = so her gates were the fact of their being the one God used to get people into His Kingdom or courts. But now, with her GATES sunk into the GROUND, this means it is no longer a way to God; it is demolished.

Remember his telling her to come DOWN and set on the ground? That is what this refers to. He did away with HER = OT, being the way to God.

People this includes EVERYTHING connected with that OT Covenant; the nation, the law, the prophets, the priests, the feasts, the sabbaths, everything!! Everything, every bit of that is clearly covered in this Book and expressly stated to have been destroyed.

No one except one totally denouncing the Word of God as invalid could deny this after this study.

Back to v9---He hath destroyed and broken her bars: this is her protection; she was left wide open to the ‘enemies?= the Apostles.

Her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: [meaning, now the Israel of God is among or made up of the Gentiles].

Watch this:~~~~~~ the law is NO MORE; ~~People, how much clearer would it need be spoken for you to finally see this truth???? The LAW is NO MORE.~~~~~~~~~ PERIOD.

This plainly shows that after God finished this work against Jerusalem, the LAW would never be again. This is HIS word; not mine. If you want to fight; if you do not like it; take it up with Him.

.....her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. ~~~~ This proves that God did away with the OT Prophets and put them into DARKNESS.

Another Scripture proving this: Micah 3:1--[showing that this is speaking to the same group of people = the heads of Jacob, the princes of Israel. ] And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel, Is it not for you to know judgment?

v4--Then shall THEY cry unto the LORD, but he will NOT hear them. he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

Now, I tell you, God shows me that this is true now of the fallen away church; you do ill; as you deny the NT Covenant and go backward ~~~~~~ to the old Covenant. You deny all the commandments in the NT. So you are ’angering?God as those people did.

Now v6---Therefore NIGHT shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; [see, we just read in Lam. that the prophets would not have a vision from God?] so this is speaking the same thing. ---and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; [this shows he put them away from him = their darkness]

and the SUN shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

Now, this clearly proves that God quit dealing with those OT Prophets. Anyone who tells you they are the type of prophet ------ well, let me give you the Word of God as to how we should do them!~~~~~~~~~

Zech. 13:1--In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

[now this speaks of the crucifixion; for this is when the only fountain for cleansing was ever or will ever be opened].

v2--And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the PROPHETS and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

v3--and it shall come to pass, that when any shall YET PROPHESY, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD; and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

v5--he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a husbandmen; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

This shows that the NT came in; they are ’husbandmen?= keeper of ’cattle - for we are likened to cattle and sheep. The OT begat them; so they must be thrust though [ in other words, killed] for there is no life now in the OT.

Now to prove that this time is connected solidly with the time of Jesus?death;

v6--And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

See, this is the crucifixion.

v7--Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I WILL TURN MINE HAND UPON THE LITTLE ONES. [this means turning to the NT Christians; after the crucifixion].

If you cannot see this, you need to ask God to give you eyes to see and the Holy Ghost to teach you.

v8--And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Look, he said in ALL the land; this means the whole nation of that Old Covenant. Two parts being cut off and dying is that law and prophets which he showed he cut off. How could you not see this?

If he cut that law off and let it die, then how could we live by it now? It just cannot be. We do not have OT Prophets anymore. Anyone who says we do is lying and should be thrust through. This is HIS Word.

v9--and I will bring the third part through the fire, = Baptism of fire-- and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, [this is those who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved--- this is NT Christians]----~~~~and I will HEAR THEM:

Remember, we read that the OT people would call on him and he would NOT HEAR THEM; ? well here it says those who call on his name (the NT Saints) he would hear them. This solidly proves he left them [that old covenant] and chose another people [ the NT Christian = Grace].

I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Now, Lam. 2:11--this verse shows that the children of the OT faint in their streets-- streets and ‘city?represent the way of the OT-- not literal streets and cities.

It means the old covenant; just as the tree of life being in the midst of the ‘street?of New Jerusalem means the way of life in the NT. The fact of their ‘swooning?means they were spiritually starving; for God had taken them to the ‘ground? there was no spiritual ‘food?left in the old covenant. So, if you stay there, you too will starve spiritually. This means you will lose your soul.

This one doing the crying here over the destruction of Jerusalem is Jesus. This is prophecy of when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the donkey and wept over Jerusalem. There is where he pronounced the fall of this ‘city?= old covenant. This shows his deep grief as he said my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth for the destruction of the daughter of MY PEOPLE = THE JEWS, or those of the LAW. This is same kind of grief Paul showed he felt as he realized that God had done away with this law group.

V12--the children ask their ‘mothers?= that old covenant which bore them---where is corn = spiritual food--- and wine = the spirit or joy of the Lord. See, there was none left there; for Jesus had pronounced them as being left ‘desolate? If one is made ‘desolate?by God, they have nothing left. So, when you go back to this ‘law?covenant, you go into the desolate city and reject the city of life.

These are the two ‘trees?in the Garden of Eden = the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil = that law; for by the law is the KNOWLEDGE OF SIN. It was holy in the concept; but it taught them what sin was. God wanted them free from this.

The ‘tree?of life, is the Words of Grace = Life in Christ Jesus; the true Words of God which he brought.

See, in the Book of Rev. and Proverbs the tree of Life is called a ‘female? so this shows that when the Bride speaks the same words Jesus spoke, they are the tree of Life. He said Come to me and DRINK and me and out of YOUR mouth should flow rivers of life. We are speaking the same words of Life He spoke. Paul spoke the same words Jesus taught; Peter did; James did; John did; so their words are the tree of life. Life is in Christ Jesus; not in keeping laws.

This is why Jesus told them he was the Lord of the Sabbath; he was showing that the true REST was He. He did not have to DO a certain thing to keep any Sabbath; he was the Sabbath. So when I have his Spirit in me, I have the Sabbath living continually inside me. I do not have to keep any laws for this to be true; it is automatic when one has the Holy Ghost. That is why the law keepers deny this Baptism of the Holy Ghost. They do not have the true Sabbath.

Now verse 14---Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

Now, there is a lot of revelation to see in this verse. First, who is he talking to? Unless you know this, you will get no understanding of truth here. To find the answer, look at what is being said. He said this someone had been ‘banished from somewhere? He said they were in captivity.

He said they were under false burdens and causes for this banishment and that because of this, they could not turn away this captivity.

This goes back to Adam in the Garden of Eden. You will see that this goes all the way from that Garden experience to the present time. Adam = the human race. So, the human race was ‘banished?or thrust out of that Garden state = immortal.

So, it is clear that this whole thing is about this event = of Adam being thrust out of Eden. That is what the whole thing with Israel represents. Hosea 5:9--Ephraim shall be DESOLATE in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

So, see here is another prophecy that Ephraim = the 10 tribe nation of Israel, shall be DESOLATE. But he said he had made known the things, which shall be through these tribes. See they represent all things to be. What happened to them were only types and shadows of everything, which has been or will be. Prophecy covers the past, present, and future. The same words apply to it all. So, when you can discern and understand the pattern of God, it fits it all. The same words are alive; they are true for everyone who ever lived. The people on earth 1,000 years ago could read the Book and find the revelation for their day; I can read the same words and find the revelation for my day; that is how powerful the Words of God are. They fit everyone who ever lived.

So, this is true of the Garden of Eden and right on down to the end of the World.

Now, back verse 14---in Lam.---He said their prophets had seen vain and foolish things for them; so what the prophets said to them were false. Now, this is not speaking of the true prophets who spoke the word of God; it was their false prophets; the ones they told to prophesy lies and not truth.

So, what is he speaking of--- that was the vain and foolish things--- the reason for their banishment or being thrust out of that Garden [of being placed into a mortal body]--you will find that all down through time, people have said it was one thing or another, the ‘whys?of their being thrust out of God’s Holy presence---but see that they have been wrong reasons--- and this is why they have not been able to turn the captivity away.

What is the ‘captivity? Of course it is our being imprisoned in these bodies of ‘clay? Our bodies are called a ‘prison?in the Word. Jesus is the only one who can set us free. His truth is all that can do this for us.

Now, we have heard that they actually ate some kind of natural ‘food?such as an apple. See how ‘foolish?this thought is? How did eating an apple give them the knowledge of good and evil? How did this cause God to place them into a mortal body? How could an apple tree be the tree of KNOWLEDGE?

Then there came along this foolish doctrine that they had sex and this was the cause of their fall. It becomes so ridiculous that they called the Serpent a natural snake and said that Eve had sex with this reptile. Now, I am here to tell you, this is the most ridiculous thing anyone could possibly believe. I just do not see how sensible, intelligent human beings could ever have believed such evil.

They say this snake was the father of Cain.

But I want to show you how easy it is to disprove this lie with the Word of God. You will find that Cain and Abel were not conceived until AFTER Adam and Eve were already thrust OUT of that Garden. See, the sin of ‘eating?of the tree of Knowledge of good and evil was done inside that Garden; that is the reason God thrust them out. They did not have sex or children inside that Garden. They were immortal beings.

You will find that sex was the first blessing God pronounced. Gen. 1:28--And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth....

So, here is the first blessing-- be fruitful and multiple--- I myself only know of one way to do this---if you know of any other way, please tell me.

So, then we find that Adam and Eve did not have Cain until they were outside that Garden. Cain was conceived after they were in mortal bodies; outside that Garden. So, sex had not one thing to do with their sin.

This is another vain and foolish reason for their banishment. This will never turn away their captivity.

Until you find the true reason for the banishment, you cannot turn away that captivity. That is what he is saying here.

These things have to be proven by the written word. This is the most important thing to ever learn~~~~~ that you must PROVE all things by the Written Word~~~~ in other words, if it is NOT Written, it is false. If you cannot read what you say and teach in the Book, it is lies.

Now, there is more than just the thing of Adam and the Garden here. There is also the thing of that old Covenant = the law--- being thrust out of God’s plan for salvation and mankind. See that they follow the same pattern.

It is the Esau that God hated = the firstborn--- which hated the birthright.

Those Jews of Jesus?day said of Jesus, this is the heir, let’s kill him and the inheritance will be ours. They wanted to keep ruling forever by the LAW; but God said NO. They knew that Jesus was changing the times and seasons; they knew that he was taking away their place = the old covenant.

How did they know this? Many ways. One is when they brought the woman taken in adultery to him. They said, Master, Moses said for us to stone her; but what do YOU say? See they already knew by things he had said and done that he did not agree with the Law of Moses. Astonishing, isn’t it?????

Now, Jesus was not going to break that law; for he had to fulfill it; but he also wanted to give this woman ‘grace? So what did he do? He pricked each one of them in their hearts of their own, hidden sins, and told them which one of them did not have sin to cast the first stone at her. They could not do it.

So in his wisdom he showed them they had all sinned and come short of the glory of God and therefore were in no condition to stone her for her sins. So, he did not break that law, but he still gave this woman grace. They hated him for this. They set about to find a way to KILL him; even though their law said, Thou shall NOT kill.

Jesus told them one time, You claim to keep the law, yet you go about to kill me. They hated him for this. He showed them their hypocrisy. That is what truth does. That is why most people hate truth.

Now, in order to ever get to truth and turn away the captivity, the true reason for their fall has to be found and straightened out.

It must be found and proven by the Written Word; it can not be guesswork or made up stuff. That is all that has been taught on this matter so far; just made up stuff. Lies.

Now, the Word shows that they ‘ate?of a ‘tree?which God had told Adam not to eat of. That is the sin. But what does it tell you? Nothing. Not by itself. One then must find out what this word ‘eat?means here. It does not mean taking natural food into ones mouth, chewing it up and swallowing it. How do I know? Because Jesus himself said NOTHING WHICH ENTERS INTO THE MOUTH CAN DEFILE A MAN.

Now, this ‘eating?which they did defiled them so much that God thrust them out of that Garden state of Immortality.

So, then we must find a Scriptural meaning of the Word ‘eat? Jesus said to ‘eat?his body. So then it has to mean to come to understand words. That is the eating he spoke of. We must read, and understand Jesus?Words. So to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, one would have to take into their mind some ‘words?

It is self-explanatory when it said this is a tree of KNOWLEDGE. The question is what kind of KNOWLEDGE. In this case the thing prevalent is the mixture of good and evil. This is what God hates. It must be ALL good. It cannot have the mixture with evil. Jesus said a little leaven leaveneth the whole.

So, one wrong word changes the whole thing. When they took on a carnal mind and mixed a little lies in with truth it changed the whole thing.

Adam became carnal minded--- he became lifted up in pride--- he wanted to be God. That is what he was tempted with --- James said one sins when he is drawn away with his own lust--- so Adam was drawn away with this lust to be lifted above God. The word is full of this. It is in Eze. 28.

Paul said to be carnally minded is DEATH--- God told Adam The day you eat of this tree, you will DIE. So he became carnally minded. Paul said the law gives the KNOWLEDGE of sin. So, the carnal mind is to believe that one becomes Holy and righteous by keeping laws. God said it is a Spirit.

Jesus showed that He was life; that he was resurrection; that he was Rest; that he was redemption; that he was the Words of life. Jesus received the Holy Ghost at his water Baptism. This Holy Spirit is the way of righteousness. Jesus was Holy because he had this Holy Spirit of God in him. He did not become Holy by keeping laws. He only kept them; for God had said they could not pass away until all be fulfilled. Jesus kept them so he could take them out of the way and offer everyone GRACE.

But if you rebel, as Adam did, and refuse to accept that the only way to righteousness is to have the Holy Ghost; that it can not come by keeping laws = your own works, then you will do as Adam and be thrust out of his holy presence eternally.

If you insist on staying in that old covenant of laws, you will be lost; for that covenant has already been rejected by God.

Then you are saying, as Adam did, that you can be God; you can be holy by your own works; you do not need to humble yourself and let Jesus fill you with his Spirit. This Holy Spirit is the only way to be holy and righteousness; you cannot become righteous by ‘keeping laws?

This becomes self-worship --- it is lifting yourself up in pride-- this is all the sins of Adam--- he was lifted up in pride--- he wanted to be his own God--- he said I will set my throne about the stars of God--- I will be like the most high--- Jesus said I do always the things that please my Father---

Adam said I can do all things by myself--- Jesus said I can of my own self do NOTHING---

Satan tempted Jesus to worship him--offered him all the kingdoms of the world if he would bow down and worship Satan-- see here this love of the world connected with Satan worship? Love not the world and the things of the World; if you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you.

So, Adam was tempted to worship himself-- and he tempted Eve into the same thing. He told her they would not die -- See, God had told Adam this thing BEFORE He created Eve--- So Eve had not actually head what God said; she only got it from Adam. So, she did not truly know what God had said; she listened to the one God had told, which was Adam.

He lied to her and deceived her. But when she saw it was wrong, she repented. Adam never repented.

v16--All their enemies = the NT believers~~~ opened their mouth against thee: this shows we teach against that old covenant. It is primarily Peter and Paul.

They say, This is the day we looked for; in other words the day God put down that law and gave us Grace.

v17--shows that God threw it down for He had commanded in the days of old for this to be done away with. He threw it down and had no pity on them. He caused her enemy [the NT Grace] to rejoice over them; he set up the horn [ruler] of their adversaries. [Christians].

v18 & 19--tells them to cry out to the Lord for the life of their young children, which are starving in all their ‘streets?= their way of serving God. See, no life in that old covenant.

v20--Shows the women eating their babies = having to ‘eat?the teaching of the Pentecostal babies, Peter and Paul and the others.

This also shows that the priest and the prophets are slain or destroyed in the NT sanctuary of the Lord = no priest and prophets of the OT are in the NT way of life.

v21--The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: [ this shows that God had brought them down into ‘dust?which means He was through with them. Dust is the SERPENTS MEAT. In other words, they became totally carnal and fleshly; no spirituality.

My virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied.

This shows that this old law is the beast with the wounded head; they had the ‘wound by the SWORD? This happened when Jesus nailed that old law to the cross and destroyed it. But what happened? The old Jerusalem birthed those seven churches [the seven heads] and revived that old ‘wounded head?they brought back up that old law. They drug up a dead carcase and are now worshipping this dead, lifeless old polluted ‘food?

But God was angry at this old law bunch of people. He had no pity on them. Some day soon, his anger against this same old group, disguised as a ‘church? will be upon them and he will do the same to them. That is prophecy in this book, which we will get to.

v22--Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD’S anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.

Now this sounds horrible ~~~~~~~ that is IF you think of it in the natural. But it is really wonderful. This is showing that all the little ones of the OT were actually ‘consumed?or brought into the NT Covenant. That is the ones who had the ‘veil?taken away and came to the light = to Jesus?Grace.

This lesson will start with Lam. 3.

This is a long and deep chapter. It has a two-fold meaning. It is speaking in the first person as the OT and also as Jesus.

Now, Jesus came to this earth under the law of the OT. He was made a curse for us; -to redeem us from the curse of the law-----Gal 3:13.

So, in this sense Jesus, in the flesh, same as Moses, represents the law.

Now, verse one: I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. Old Testament speaking; Jesus speaking.

Read Isaiah 53 you will see that Jesus was smitten of God; afflicted for us. v4--Surely he hath born our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

v2--He hath led me, and brought me into darkness but not into light. Here Jesus is saying he was led into the dark age of the Law; but not into the light of Grace. Also those under that covenant say this.

v3--shows God is against them.

v4--{this is great---] ...My flash and my skin hath he made old. he hath broken my bones.

In Heb. we are told that the law waxed old and vanished away. Not a bone of Jesus was broken on the cross; so this is saying all his OT bones [those in that tree of law] were all broken; remember in Isaiah it said they were broken, taken and snared. That is this prophecy fulfilled.

v5--He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

This is the waters made bitter in Rev. The law was the gall; or the bitterness which made them dead. The travail is their going through the wrath of God upon them. Also their travail to bring Jesus forth.

v6--He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.

This is the law saying God put them into darkness which is the same as death. See, the ‘of old?refers to those before the flood; they too, had turned away from God to law.

v7--He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out; he hath made my chain heavy.

This shows he completely did away with that old law; they could not find a way out of it. The law was a heavy chain upon their necks.

Remember the apostles said not to put that yoke back on the Christians which their fathers could not endure it was so heavy.

I just had a revelation I never saw before: this is linked with that ‘chain?which bound Satan up for the thousand years. I am beginning to believe that Satan and the law are synonymous.

v8--Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

This shows that by the law, no prayers will be answered. He does not hear from that old covenant now.

v9--He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.

Now John Baptist came to make straight paths for the Lord; in other words John bridged the gap between the OT and the NT. He set things straight. He taught Grace. He was the one who brought forth the head stone crying ‘Grace, Grace?to it. Those left in the OT have crooked paths.

See, also that their way in enclosed with stone; this shows the stony heart which still has the OT law in it. They were a fountain shut up as in Song of Solomon.

No living water could come forth from this closed up fountain. It is inclosed with stone.

v11--shows he made them DESOLATE. We know Jesus told Jerusalem, ‘your house is left desolate? So this is about that.

The next verses all are saying how God destroyed them as a people [ the law].

v18--And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD;

v19--Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

v20--My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

v21--This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

Now, here she humbles herself and sees HOPE. Why? She sees the NT Grace and knows if she gets there, God will again give her the blessings she has been stripped of.

Jesus at the cross, looked ahead and for the glory set BEFORE him, endured the cross, despising the shame; but he saw the glory of the resurrection when He would wake in the image and likeness of God; when he would again have the glory he had with the Father before the world was.

This was their hope; this is our great hope; this is how we humble ourselves and endure whatever comes against us here for the hope He has given us of eternal life. It is worth it all, dear people.

Before I pick up with verse 22, I want to back up and show some Scriptural connections with some of the above verses.

In 3:7 it said God hedged her about so she could not get out. Hosea 2:6--Therefore, behold I will HEDGE up thy way with THORNS, and make a WALL, that she shall not find her paths.

This is speaking of v5--her ‘mother who played the harlot? now we know this is the old whorish Jerusalem. So this is the one he said he hedged up so she could not get out. He cut off that old law which is the same as Jerusalem.

In verse 10 God said he was as a lion in secret places. Check this with Hosea 5:14--For I will be unto Ephraim [any doubt about who is being spoken of?]--as a LION, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: [any doubt about who is being spoken of?]--I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. Who??? Judah.

v15--I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

6:1--Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

v2--After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight

.v3--Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD; His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Now this is Judah saying that they will return to the Lord after he had torn them. They are speaking of the resurrection of Jesus, when in the third day after his death, he would raise up some of those OT saints and take them over into the New Jerusalem = the NT Gospel.

Also, it speaks of their coming into the NT Church on the day of Pentecost.

Remember in Lam.3:4 he said he broke their bones; compare to Isaiah 38:13--I reckoned till morning, that, as a LION, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

Compare v6 with Psalm 88:1-6--v5--[Jesus speaking] Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave....v6--Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.

Now Lam. 3:22-26--these verses are showing that there is hope in seeking God.

v27--It is good for a man that he bear the YOKE in his youth.

Now, what is this?

Acts 15:10--Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a YOKE upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

He is calling that LAW a YOKE TO HARD TO BEAR--- A YOKE OF IRON---A HEAVY CHAIN.

Why is it good for him to bear the YOKE in his youth?

Youth is childhood.

Gal. 3:23--But BEFORE FAITH came, we were kept under the law [THE YOKE]--shut up [he had shut them up, remember?]---unto the FAITH which should AFTERWARDS be revealed.

After what? They had been shut up as a child= under the yoke = law.

v24--Wherefore the LAW [yoke]--was our SCHOOLMASTER [who goes to school? children]---to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by FAITH.

v25--But after that FAITH is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. [law; yoke].

Now for some glory; revelation!!!!!

Paul’s writtings are very much misunderstood by the church world.

1Cor. 13:9--For we KNOW in PART, and we prophesy in part.

v10--But when that which is PERFECT is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

The LAW was that which was in part. Their prophecyings were only in part; for they did not have the full glory = the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

v11--WHEN I WAS A CHILD,

[I will finish this in a minute; but look at this]----Hosea 11:1--WHEN ISRAEL WAS A CHILD, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

When Paul was an Israelite = in the law= then he was a child = under the schoolmaster= the law = knew in part = could only prophecy in part-----see?

Now, Paul is a Christian.

v11--When I was a child, I spake as a CHILD, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: BUT when I became a MAN, [ a manchild; in Christ]--I put away childish things.

Now, people of God, He just revealed this to me

.

Paul is NOT speaking here of himself [ as he was not in Romans 7] he is speaking of the Spiritual condition of mankind in both places.

The church world has misunderstood this passage and run wild with it. Lots of people even say this shows that the wonderful, much needed gifts of the Spirit have been done away with because we have the completed Scriptures to read.

In other words people, they would have us believe the only thing we can have from God today is a book to read.

Paul is saying after he came to Grace, = spiritual man-hood, he put away the childish things of the law. Of seeing in part. Of knowing in part. Of seeing darkly.

v12--For now we SEE through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am know.

This makes it look as if he is saying that now, as a true Christian he is only seeing [ understanding darkly] but no! It is the same speech as in Romans 7 where he is speaking of mankind under the law as though it were of himself personally.

Here, Paul is saying to those people who were still holding onto law [ as most of those churches in that day were] he is saying this as if it were them [ for this is their condition] Now we [them; not Paul] see = understand--- through a glass darkly~~~~~~~~~ now why was this?????

11Cor. 3:13--And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

v14--But their minds [ understanding] were BLINDED; = [dark]--for until THIS DAY remaineth the same veil [blindness; darkly]--untaken away [see it was STILL IN THAT CHURCH] in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. [when one becomes a MAN].

v15---But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.

v16--Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

v17--Now the Lord is that Spirit: [ the Holy Ghost]--and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

v18--But we all, [ who? those who have turned to the Lord and had the veil taken away;~ became a man~~~]------with OPEN face beholding [seeing] as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into this same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Changed from that glory of the ministration of death by Moses ~~~~~~ to the glory of the Spirit~~~~~ by which we see openly~~~ face to face.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! Glory!!! Thank you my God for this great revelation!!!!!!

This shows that those who turn to the Holy Ghost are NOW seeing the glory of the Lord plainly; face to face. This is NOT something still out in the future.

I will now try to add a little more on this great message of the fall of the OT. We are in chapter three of Lamentations. This is a very long chapter; so I may not cover every verse.

Verse 28: He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath born it upon him.

This is speaking of Jesus being all alone because he had borne the yoke of the Law upon himself in his ?youth? [Or his stay on earth].

V29--shows him as he took on humanity = dust.

V30--He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. [Speaking of the trial and crucifixion of Jesus].

The next verses are speaking of mankind needing to try his ways and seek the Lord.

V42- speaks of that ‘law?group as having rebelled and God did not pardon.

V43--shows that God persecuted and slew them without pity. It also speaks of his sacrificing Jesus for us.

v44--shows that their prayers cannot get to God.

v45--God made them as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

v46--Their enemies [ the apostles] opened their mouths against us [ law].

v47--Shows Jesus made them DESOLATE AND DESTROYED THEM.

v48-51--shows Jesus weeping over Jerusalem.

v52--They hated him without cause.

v53--His death and burial. v54--Same.

v55- speaks of the prayers Jesus prayed to God while in Hell. Verses 56-66 are Jesus?prayer to God against Jerusalem and law.

v64--Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. [Jesus prayed this against them. It is fulfilled; because God takes revenge against them according to their works.

v65--Jesus prayed “give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.?/FONT>

He knew Moses had said by God, that if they disobeyed, the CURSE would come upon them. So here he is praying for this to be fulfilled; and it was; they are CURSED BY GOD.

v66--[amazing, isn’t it? The Book has 66 Books; Isaiah has 66 Books; and here in the 66th verse ```` Jesus prays this: Persecute and DESTROY them [who? the Old Covenant = old Jerusalem = law]~~~~~~ in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.

Fits exactly what is shown in Hebrews that the one [old covenant] which waxed old, is destroyed. Notice, Jesus himself prayed for God to persecute and destroy this group of rebellious, law claiming people.

Who is able to stay his hand?

 Lam. 4

Verse one: How is the gold become dim! How is the most fine gold changed!

Gold represents God’s Word and His people ------ so this is showing that the Word changed from the old testament ------ to the New Testament; also, from the law people ----- to the grace people.

The stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. ```````` The ‘stones?represent those who made up that old sanctuary. For proof, read in Peter where he said we are ‘stones?in the building of God.

So, these ‘stones?were the people making up that old covenant people. They were ‘poured?out in all the ‘streets? Streets represent the way of righteousness ```````` for proof, read in Psm. 23, where he said, “he leadeth me in the PATHS of righteousness?`````` path and street is the same thing.

So, this is telling us that those Old Testament ‘stones?were no longer a street into the city of God.

v2---The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, [ now see here, how this proves it was speaking of those people of God? ] (this is how Scripture explains the Scripture, so that there can be no doubt as to the true meaning ) -------how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!

Now this shows the sons of God down here on earth, in an earthly body of clay; made this way by God, the potter. Even Jesus became one of these earthly pitchers.

V3 shows them becoming cruel in that they no longer ‘fed?their ‘children? This means they no longer had the word of God to feed them with.

V4--The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them.

Once again, showing that there was no spiritual food in that old covenant for the people; so they were thirsting to death and starving without food [ spiritual meat].

V5--They that did feed delicately are DESOLATE in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.

This is again showing this city of the Old Testament being left DESOLATE. In the streets = the paths of righteousness --- they do not have it. Scarlet is the color of sin and the dragon = it also shows royalty ---- so these people were full of sin; yet lived lavishously on earth; but now embrace ‘dunghills?.

Paul said he counted all that old law life of his to be just ‘dung? So, this is the ‘dunghills? People, if you cling to the old law, you are embracing ‘dung?

v7------This describes the original state of Adam in the garden of Eden; compare it with Eze. 28. They once were pure in the sight of God also; but now, they are become vile.

v8-----shows the horrible ‘change?which occurred when they were cast out of that original condition; now they are not recognizable from that original glory.

v11------ This verse is powerful; in that it leaves no doubt that God hath destroyed this old ‘city?

The LORD hath accomplished HIS fury; [ now let someone say this is NOT the work of God against this old covenant !] -------he hath poured out his FIERCE ANGER, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath DEVOURED THE FOUNDATIONS thereof.

People, this proves that God himself destroyed the very foundation of that old covenant city.

If the foundation is destroyed, it most certainly cannot stand. It has FALLEN.

v12--shows that no one on earth would have believed that the ADVERSARY [ the new testament Christian ] , their enemy, should have entered into the GATES of Jerusalem.

See, they became the GATES INTO THE CITY OF GOD, THE NEW JERUSALEM. That old ‘Jerusalem?[the law] was destroyed.

v13--- READ THIS VERSE CAREFULLY!!!!!!! If you desire TRUTH !!!!!!!!

FOR THE SINS OF HER PROPHETS, AND THE INIQUITIES OF HER PRIESTS, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,`````````

Now see, that this shows that her PROPHETS AND HER PRIESTS sinned in shedding the BLOOD OF THE JUST in the MIDST OF HER!!! Does not this fit exactly what

Jesus pronounced against this bloody city of Jerusalem, when He said they had shed all the blood of the righteous which had ever been shed?????? He said they had killed all their prophets [ this is the true prophets sent by God ].

So, don’t you see that this again identifies this old city of Jerusalem as the mystery Babylon? Even in the OT writings, this is proven.

Lamentations, 4:14--They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.

Who is this wandering around as blind men? It is the people who cling to the old covenant after the New Covenant has been brought in. The streets represent the way in which we follow God; our Spiritual highway!!

So, in the New Testament Street, these law keepers were blind; not able to ‘see their way?

They polluted themselves with blood ----- WHAT? They were destroying their people, spiritually by denying them access to New Testament Salvation through the blood of Jesus; they were ‘shedding innocent?blood spiritually.

Verse 15 shows that they had to depart and call it unclean. They fled away and wandered among the heathen.

v16--The anger of the LORD hath divided them; [see, here that God was angry at them and divided them?] he will no more regard them: [shows he no more favored them]---they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders.

v17--shows they were still looking to a nation [ old Israel ] which could not save them. It also shows that their help from this source was in vain.

v18--They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are FULFILLED; for our END IS COME.

This verse is critical to understanding Lamentations: that God destroyed, without mercy, this old testament way of life.

See that it said, somebody was hunting their steps; that they could not go in their streets --- this somebody was the New Church-- they were seeking to bring them into the Church--- their ‘law?street was polluted, and they could not go to God that way. Notice, it said their end is near; their days were FULFILLED; THEIR END HAD COME.

This is proof that they were finished at the time the New Church started. How could it need to be any plainer?????

v19--speaks of the New Testament ministers seeking them everywhere. The N.T. Church had fled into the ‘spiritual wilderness? remember? So this is who is laying wait for them in the wilderness; this church was in new territory with God and they were seeking to bring all those old covenant people into this new territory with God.

So, see, instead of being something terrible, as most people assume, it is really something very good.

v20--shows that they had been the anointed of the LORD, but now they are taken into the ‘pits?of the New T. Church.

verses 21 & 22 show that the punishment which came upon these people shall come upon others who also make themselves ‘drunken and spiritually naked = the Laodeican Church people.

So, we will take up with chapter 5 next time. I truly hope some of you are reading and studying this message. It is so very important to your salvation to realize that you cannot come to God through that old covenant.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Lesson 13, on the Fall of the O.T. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This lesson will finish up the Book of Lamentations; but there will be other lessons on this subject. There are many good lessons of this in Jeremiah. We will cover some of this and maybe some other books. I hope some of you are printing out these messages; if so, you will have a good Bible study on this subject. This would be a good tool to help you in your personal ministry. We should all try to bring people out of the darkness of the law, into the light of Grace.

Chapter five:

v 1
Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us; consider, and behold our reproach.

This is their acknowledgment of their having been made a reproach by God.

v2-[important verse--]---Our Inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

These ‘strangers?are the New T. Ministers and Christians. So this shows that they are now the ones who have inherited the things of God. Their ‘houses?means their places of ‘worship? so now, that has gone over to the New T. Church = the body of Christ.

v3--We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

This is spiritual talk----- it is not speaking of them as natural widows and orphans; it is speaking of the fact that God has divorced and rejected them. Now, they are no longer His wife and His Children. They are no longer the PEOPLE OF GOD.

This is too much in the Word of God, for so many people to miss this.

Read Isaiah 47 in connection with this study; it is full of the same meanings. This is speaking of when God cut off mystery ‘Babylon?= old Jerusalem. = law = old covenant.

v1- tells how he put her into the dust = out of his presence = into being the serpent’s meat. = cut off from God.

He speaks of her nakedness being uncovered. In our last study, it spoke of his destroying those who became naked. This is the one he speaks of.

v5--Sit thou SILENT, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, the lady of kingdoms.

Now, most people will miss that this speaks of old Jerusalem - they will place it on the Catholic Church [ which is the same thing] -- but when you see that Jesus called Jerusalem the DESOLATE one who killed all the people of God --- there can be no doubt that this is speaking of the old ‘wife?of God being put away. She is told to be 'silent' = not to teach any more.

v6 shows that God was angry at them; we have already proven this. Then look at verse nine---But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood:.....

Did we not just read that they were the orphans and widows??? See, then that this is the same one being spoken of in Lam.

v4 of Lam. 5--shows they had been partaking of the mark of the beast in buying the word.

v5---they ‘labor?and have no ‘rest? See, then that the OT did not give them a true REST??

v6---shows them going to false churches for help; but to no avail. Now I know some will say this is not in this verse; but you must see that these things are used in a symbolical sense; as is the rest of the Word of God.

v7---shows their fathers sinned and they bore their iniquities; as was stated for the OT people.

v8--Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

This is great -- it shows the Servants of Jesus = the N.T. ministers, had the ruler ship over that old law group of people; and no one could deliver them out of their hand and take them back to their place with God under that old covenant.

v9--shows that those who tried to receive spiritual ‘bread?out of that old way now, endanger their own lives. The ‘sword of the wilderness?was the New Testament message.

v10--shows there was nothing left in that old testament but spiritual starvation.

v11- is speaking of the NT ministers seeking to convert the people of the OT.

v12--they do not honour that OT group of leaders any longer.

v13--They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.

Grinding represents making bread, or teaching doctrine. Read in Isa. 47. So this shows that the young men were taught to receive and teach the new truth of Grace.

v14--The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick.

This shows that those OT leaders are no longer the ‘gateway?to God; and the joy of that old way is no longer. Read Rev. 18.

v15--The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. This fits the destruction of old Babylon in Rev. 18

v16--[this is powerful to understanding this message]----The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!

This shows the same thing as Isa. 47---and Rev. 18---that they are now no longer the ‘queen?of God. Their ‘crown? or place of ruler ship, has been taken away from them and given to a nation bearing the fruits thereof = the New Church. They came under this ‘woe?because they sinned in rejecting the change from the OT to the NT.

v17--For this our heart is FAINT; for these things our EYES ARE DIM.

See, they ‘fainted?= did not hold out spiritually - they did not wait upon the Lord and follow where He led. So, their spiritual ‘eyes were dim? they cannot see or know spiritual truth. They do not ‘hear?what the Spirit says to the Churches.

v18--Because of the mountain of Zion, which is DESOLATE, the foxes walk upon it.

This shows that old T. Zion is now the DESOLATE ONE. There can be no doubt that Jesus pronounced this as being Jerusalem or the OT law covenant. The foxes are that which spoils the vines; so they are now ‘spoiled?or desolate.

v19--Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.

This is great: they have been told that their ‘crown?has fallen; [they are no longer the ruler for God] - but they must acknowledge that His throne will never end. He is now king to the NT. He moved from that old generation ~~~~~~ to the New Generation of Grace. Glory to God!

v20-- [Please take special note of this verse ] ~~~~~ Wherefore dost thou forget us FOR EVER, and forsake us SO LONG TIME?

Here, they show that God forsook that old way FOR EVER. He has NOT ~~~ AND WILL NOT EVER TURN BACK TO THAT WAY OR THEM ~~~ AS THE PEOPLE OF GOD! If so, this verse would not be right.

v21--Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

See, they make one last attempt the get God to accept them back as the people of God; to take back that old way of law; but He rejects this attempt to change him from his determination to turn to Grace.

v22--But thou hast UTTERLY REJECTED US; thou art VERY WROTH AGAINST US.

Marvelous way for this book to end!!!!!!

God UTTERLY REJECTED THAT OLD COVENANT AS THE GATE TO HEAVEN ~~~~~~ OR GOD ~~~~~~ OR THE CITY OF GOD.

PEOPLE, YOU CANNOT GET TO GOD THROUGH THESE FORSAKEN GATES OF LAW AND OLD COVENANT; OLD JERUSALEM. IT IS ENDED. IT IS FORSAKEN FOREVER.

WHAT MORE NEED BE SAID?

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the CHURCHES.

This concludes our study in the Book of Lamentations. I do hope it has been a blessing to SOMEONE.

Isaiah,  It is so good that you sent this powerful message back to the front for now.

Know what, then.....that old covenant of law is the gates to hell.

See this is why so many are into it now.  Jesus said  MANY therebe that go in thereat,  those wide gates to hell.  Many are back under that abondage of law.

Blessed are the eyes which see what we see.  Jesus said few there be which find the way which leads to eternal life.

May we help a few find the way.

God anoint this message and let it help someone come out of that bondage, which Jesus died to free us from!
