How about sharing your memories and traditions of Easter?  Tell us of your Easter baskets, Easter egg hunts, favorite stories, meals and desserts.

When I was young, it was always fun when Mom took me shopping for my new Easter outfit.   It included everything from underwear to hat and gloves, shoes and purse.

Does anyone remember the Sugar Panorama Eggs?  Oh how I loved those.  They were made of solid sugar and decorated.  At one end you could peek through the center and see a scene inside the egg.  I treasured mine.  My Easter basket had lots of beautifully dyed eggs, candy, a big chocolate bunny and a plush bunny.  Those were wonderful days.

When our children were little, we used the large plastic egg that pantyhose came in and painted it gold.  The "golden egg" included a dollar inside and our children frantically searched for it.  Back then a dollar was like five dollars today.

Of course, we always went to church to celebrate our Risen Saviour.  I even remember glorious Easter Sunrise Services which were held in an outdoor theatre where the cast re-enacted the last hours of our Lord.  Very touching!

I wish each of you a most blessed Easter!
