hello guys, just wanted to let you all know that I havent fallen off the face of the earth (at least not yet LOL) I did however want to let you all know that I feel on Wens September 3rd and well..... I chipped my fibula (the outer bone of the ankle) I stepped off of the porch wrong and twisted my ankle(which resulted in it chipping), scraped my hand, and bruised my knee. Dr's say I'll spend the next 4-5 weeks in a cast (ugh) I just hope it heals right this time, the last time I broke my ankle (5 yrs ago and yes same ankle) it didnt heal right and I still have trouble with it.
anyway its late and I need to take my little self to bed

also wanted to let you all know my dad was in surgery today for gastric bypass, with the grace of God and the talent of the Dr's hands, the surgery was a success. they also repaired a hernia that he has had since birth, looks like he'll be in the hosp about a week and then will get to come home.
i'll keep you all as posted as I can

HI Ruth :) I've been away from the board for a while too, didn't feel I belonged here because my beliefs weren't the same as what this board represents but I'm happy to say that since March we've found a church home and have a fabulous church family!! We are learning and 'baby' Christians and soon will be baptized as a family :) Sorry your leg is hurt! That must have hurt!! Praying for a fast recovery for you! :) Your dad too.
