Signing in for cold November here in Scotland, havent forgotten you. It was Guy Fawkes night last night, know a lot of people wont understand that about Britain (anyone want to know more just post here) = we have bonfires and fireworks and hot potatoes shoved in the bonfire so a night of celebration. Congrats. on America for the election; was on IM to Trisha in USA while it was all happening, Monette922 knows her, remember no matter what your vote was God is still in control though am worried about the President elect (nothing to do with colour but Christian values etc. - he is not a pro-lifer) but it has uplifted your country, maybe I believe refreshed it so God knows what He is doing and remember Britain is your closest ally so what happens in America directly affects us and indeed the rest of the major world. Thanks for the message Mary :) I think you got it right on. There is always something about any person we don't like that we elect but I do sense a renewed hope. It will take some time though. Just have to cross our fingers and pray. :)  Monette (the other one) |

Hello Monette and the rest of the group...Its been awhile since have been in here but I am still alive and kicking!!! Am very busy working nowadays, have 3 part time jobs and that keeps me pretty busy....sorry that I have not been in here in a long time but as you can see I am pretty busy working most of the time.....Just don't have time to be on computer anymore like I used to be.... Monette, I am a great grandmother now too! Have a little girl who is 11 months old today as a matter of fact.... You all take care and keep up the good work here in the group..I see groups are going to close here in February, what in the world is wrong with msn?? ok am out of here....Monette I think of you often and pray for you .....even tho I am not around much I still care and think of you often.... love to all, Darlene |

Kalani am sorry to hear of your problems . I hope you're able to make arrangements to be able to visit with your children.
I went to Oceanside, california for a week with my sister. Just returned. The weather and the beach were awesome.

Me, too, Monette, signing in for Nov. and December both. I thought I already had signed for November. Sorry about that..... Things are hectic, as always, come Autumn, and the holidays. Grandsons are requiring a LOT of school conferences and medical appointments and such at this time of year, as always. I'm taking Elizabeth to therapy (OT, PT, and Speech) as a follow up on her rehab hospitalization in August. Just always in motion, even as I long for rest....quiet....peace....serenity....time. lol I think I told you already, but not sure, that I am a great-grandma now. A little girl named Mercy. Guess the kids will carry on the family tradition, since I had a Hope and a Joy, huh? Cheer up about the closing of the board, Monette. The old will pass away and make NEW opportunities.....Around May or June, Tripod erased my entire website, then said "OOOPS, we made a mistake" They never did restore it like they said they would, and I didn't have all that stuff backed up. I first started moaning about my years of continuing a "work in progress" on that site, then made myself get a new perspective on it. It is really an opportunity to start fresh....I had a lot of whining on there, and really needed to clean that up anyway, ya know? It served it's purpose, probably saved my sanity (maybe) and life at the time I started it back in 2001. Now, so much has transpired and we all have grown through all the years and I have so many different ways of looking at things than I did back then. Getting too comfortable with status quo may not be what is in God's plan for us, ya know? I'm still getting "click on this link" from your IM on hotmail, Monette. I never click, because I know it isn't you sending it to me. Give me a call or an email and we'll chat again, okay? I only have email addresses for you that return my mail to me.
