1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose four
1 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon vinegar
5 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup cold water

Mix four, sugar, cocoa, soda & salt together.  Make 3 wells in flour mixture.  In one hole put vanilla, in another put vinegaMr & in the third one put oil.  Pour cold water over mixture and stir until moistened.  Pour in an 8 x 8 baking dish or pan and bake at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes.

May not sound good but it really is and it is so very moist.

Thanks so much for the Wacky Cake  recipe, Shirley.  I have it saved in my recipe file now.  I'll have to try it someday.  Sounds yummy to me.
