so we don't do thanksgiving in November, we did it in October.   But we are on our way into Christmas and really busy at the store, and we are now open 24 hours a day, but it doesn't change my schedule too much as I am full time but my manager has changed his hours so I have been able to work day shifts instead of afternoon shifts and when I do work an afternoon shift it is still 2;30 to 10;30and a couple 3 to 11 at the latest.  This last few weeks have been very hectic as I have been dealing with my dad and his health (He wants to die at home) but his health has become so bad and  for his safety we had to sign him up to go into a home.  I phoned the health care on Monday and said I did not want him released from the hospital and sent home, keep him there until you find a place, and by Friday morning he was placed, sad to say not in his home town but glad to say only one hour away from two of us kids, instead of a 6 hour drive for us to his home town, also the oldest son is less than a hour away, so he will get to see us a little more .  We saw him today and he seemed quite settled, and not upset like we were afraid he would be, so we are so thankful for that and also the home is old but very well cared for and clean and only 80 residents. so we will keep praying that he will be content and settle in. So Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to ALL.
