On this day 49 yrs ago you were born. 5 years ago you suddenly went Home. I've missed you Sis. I think about you all the time. I wish you were here in body so I can hear your responses when I talk to you. I wish your life was easier for you and I wish I could have (more like would have) helped you more. Even though we only talked maybe twice a year it was as if we had been talking all along. Our sisterly bond was so special to me. I'm glad we got to share that with each other.
You see that candle on the mantle Sis? That's for you
Happy Birthday up in Heaven Sis

I love you,
Your "little" sis-
Monette

Dear Monette # 2

I know how hard these days are when you miss your loved ones on their special days.  Remember all the fun times and the love you shared.  Those beautiful memories will always be with you as love never dies.  Your sis is still a part of you and watches over you in spirit.  Think of her as living joyfully in an exquisite mansion and having dinner with Jesus.

If you are having a hard time dealing with this, please let me know and we can talk.  I will be praying for you .. and your mom.

Here is a special web site that I love and often share with those who have lost a loved one.  I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Monette :)  I'm ok. I'm not depressed or anything. It's a part of life. It may stink that our loved ones are called Home when they are young, old, suddenly or not and we may not understand why but in the end we get all the answers.
My Sis was 14 yrs older than I and we didn't chat much on the phone but when we did we could feel that close bond. It was good :)
She was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia in Nov '99, went into remission and then developed a blood clot that killed her. Both of my grandparent passed away in July '00 and then my sister suddenly two months later. It was very rough at that time. I'm fine now though. Hard to believe it's been 5 yrs though. Time flies!

hugs,
monette # 2
