Little Angels
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child. Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold. So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.

Don't grieve for me, for I am free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard His call, I turned back and left it all.
I could not stay another day to laugh, To love, to work or play. Tasks undone must stay that way. I found peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things, I to will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, My life's been full I've had my tomorrows. Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems all to brief; don't lengthen it now with undo grief. Lift up your heart and share with me. I'm going home with Jesus, I'm Free.
