My Dearest Kalani,

There is no way I can express how deeply you have touched my heart.

This tag you made from you and your son Brandon in memory of my twins is just so awesome. It means so much to me. I love watching the candles glow and seeing our beloved Christ praying.

I appreciate your love and thoughtfulness. Thank you so very, very much!

It has been a very rough week for me. All the memories from Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1976 have been flooding back and my emotions are on a huge roller coaster. Tears are still running down my face.

I hope everyone has read my story on my home page and on the Memorial board. If you haven't, please do.

Roger died in a state institution. They phoned me early that morning to tell me he had a seizure and just passed away. He was 20 years old but bedridden. We buried him the next day.

His twin brother Russ had died at age 4 on Thursday morning, Feb. 9, 1961 when pneumonia collapsed his lung.

I still wonder what it would have been like to have twin sons 48 years old now.

monette i cant even imigine the pain you are going through but i want you to know i can feel your pain and i am praying for you the burdun you have had to bear is heavy to lose both of them has to be more than a mother can bear how you have been able to still be standing it a tribute to you, you are a blessing to all of us wally.

Well, another "special day" for me has rolled around. Once again I remember my sweet 4-year-old twin son Russ who passed away Thursday morning Feb. 9, 1961 when pneumonia collapsed his lung. His twin brother Roger died Nov. 9, 1976. This makes me doubly thankful for my 2 daughters Cindy and Bonnie and 2 more sons Ed and Fred. They are the light of my life. Praise God!

So far I'm doing okay but I'll have to keep busy and get my mind on other things or I will break down. I can never just let the day go by though. I must always keep their memory alive. It is indeed a blessing to know that Roger and Russ are in heaven with Jesus and all other children who have gone too soon.

All of you have been so wonderful with your love and support for those of us who have lost children and we thank you. It is so comforting to read your thoughtful messages. Just say a prayer for us for strength to get through these special days. God bless you! I love you!
