WHAT MATTERS MOST
No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt
without love. l corinthians 13:3b (Msg)
Life is all about love.
Because God is love, the most important lesson He wants you to learn
on earth is how to love. It is in loving that we are most like Him, so
love is the foundation of every command He has given us.
Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you
are my disciples. John 13:35 (LB)
Love should be your top priority, primary objective and greatest ambition.
Let love be your greatest aim. l Corinthians 14:1a (Msg)
God says relationships is what life is all about. Four of the Ten Commandments
deal with our relationship with God, the other six deal with our relationships
with other people.
After learning to love God (worship) learning to love is our second purpose.
These three things will continue forever: faith, hope and love. And the
greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NCV)
In our final moments we all realize that life is all about relationships. Wisdom
is learning that truth sooner rather than later. Dont wait until you are on your
deathbed to figure that out.
Why should God give you another day if you are going to waste it?
The importance of things can be measured how much time we give them.
The more time we give them, the more important we realize they are to us.
If you want to know a person's priorities, see how they spend their time.
Time is your most precious gift as you only have a certain amount of it.
It's not enough to say relationships are important: We have to prove it by
investing time. Love is giving up, yielding up my preferences, comfort,
goals, security, money, energy or time for the benefit of someone else.
1. Work towards making relationships my lst priority.
This book prepares you for eternity. This is what God is doing to me
- refining and perfecting me. Romans 12:2 (NLT)
God has changed areas of my life in my way of thinking.
All you are taking with you is your character. When you give someone
your time you are giving them a portion of your life you cant get back.
Whenever you give someone your time you are making a sacrifice and
sacrifice is the essence of love.
QTC Honestly are relationships my lst priority? How can I make sure
they are.
I must give more time to my relationships.
