Even in the perfect, sinless environment of eden God said, " it is not good for man to be alone "

Genesis 2:18

We ware created for community, fashined for fellowship and formed for a family none of us can fulfull God's purpose by yourselves.

The Bible knows nothing of solitary saints or spiritual hemits Isolated from other believers and deprived of fellowship

Bible says put together, joined together, built together, member together, heirs together, filled together, held together, and will be caught up together

1 cor 12:12 - Ep 2:21, 22, 3:6, 4:16, Col : 21: 9, 1 Thes 4:17

While your relationship with God is to be private in Gods, God never intended it to be private...

In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belong to al the others

Romans 12:5

following Christ including belongs not to just believeing - we are members of his body

for the organs of how body to fulfill their purpose they must be connected to your body the same is true for you as a part of Christ body

a organ is a part from the body can not survive - Just like our body in Christ can not survive without fellowship

****Local Fellowship

Continuing.... 40 Day Challenge

Day 17 - A Place to Belong

You are called to belong, not just believe. We are created for community, fashioned for fellowship, and formed for a family, and none of us can fulfill God's purposes by ourselves.

The Bible says we are put together, joined together, built together, members together, heirs together, fitted together, and held together and will be caught up together. You are not on your own anymore. While your relationship to Christ is personal, God never intends it to be private. In God's family you are connected to every other believer, and we will belong to each other for eternity.

The Bible says, In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. It also says a Christian without a church home is like an organ without a body, a sheep without a flock, or a child without a family. It is an unnatural state.

The Christian life is more than just commitment to Christ; it includes a commitment to other Christians. The Christians in Macedonia understood this. Paul said, First they gave themselves to the Lord; and then, by God's will, they gave themselves to us as well. Joining the membership of a local church is the natural next step once you've become a child of God. You become a Christian by committing yourself to Christ, but you become a church member by committing yourself to a specific group of believers. The first decision brings salvation; the second brings fellowship.

Day 17 write up

Purpose Driven Life

A place to belong

you are member of God's very own family, citzens of God's countrye and your belong in God's house hold with every other Christian Ephesian 2:19

that verse just tickled me... totally ticked me.... knowing that I belonged to God.... and that I belong in his house.... with every other Christian.... I knew this.. but with Scripture.... and I just love seeing scripture... and I really love to know it.. with scripture.. base ...

We ware created for community, fashined for fellowship and formed for a family none of us can fulfull God's purpose by yourselves.

The Bible knows nothing of solitary saints or spiritual hemits Isolated from other believers and deprived of fellowship

that is true the Bible does not talk about isolation... although.... it does talk about.... being.... in private.... but..... not.... ALONE.... away.... frome NO ONE....

While your relationship with God is to be private in Gods, God never intended it to be private...

In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belong to al the others

Romans 12:5

yeah we are meant to be with each other... with all to fellowship with other ppl.... with ... amongst other ppl..... other wise.. why would he have all of us together... other wise we would be on seperate island.. all on our own.. and not need to be together... at all... HMMM got that one.. don't I...

*** your choice

the differecne between church

attenders and a church member is commitment attenders are spectators from the sidelines members get involved in the ministries

attenders are consumers members are contribiters...

attenders want the benifits of a church without the sharing the repsonsibility

I got to thinking about this.. and go to thinking about the group... in it self.... how.. we have alot of members.... but we... we have about maybe 100 maybe at most 200 but there is about 3200 memebers... so we have attenders? of 3200 and about 200 are members that attend ... LOL.... so that is weird... this is.. weird... how.. it is wierd... LOL.... how I see it... that is sooooo wild..... that is sooooo wild... to know.... guess it does makes sense if you don't attribute ... you are just attending... not really doing noting but sitting on the side line.... wow.... I am living ... how much I am learning ...

why is it important to join church family

proves commitment

DAY 17

A PLACE TO BELONG

You are called to belong, not just to believe.

We are created for community, fashioned for fellowship, and formed for a family,
and none of us can fulfill God's purposes by ourselves.

.... we will be caught up together.

The church is a body, not a building; an organism, not an organization.

You were created for a specific role but you will miss this second purpose
of your life if you are not attached to a living, local church.  You discover
your role in life through your relationship with others.  Whenever we become
careless about fellowship, everything else begins to slide too.

We are commanded to love each other, pray for each other, encourage
each other, admonish each other, greet each other, serve each other,
teach each other, accept each other, honour each other, bear each other's
burdens, forgive each other, submit to each other, be devoted to each
other and many other mutual tasks.

God has a unique role for you to play in His family.  This is called
"your ministry" and God has gifted you for this assignment.  Your local
fellowship if the place God designed for you to discover, develop and use
your gifts.  You may also have a wider ministry, but that is in addition
to your service in a local body.

As members of Christ's body, we are His hands, His feet, His eyes,
and His heart.  He works through us in the world.

Encourage one another daily .... so that none of you may be
hardened by SIN'S DECEITFULNESS.  Hebrews 3:13 (NIV)

.... evangelism helps fulfill your mission.

QTC  Does my level of involvement in my local church demonstrate
that I love and am committed to God's family?

Not at the moment.  I am pending at the moment.  Another Sunday
gone by and I did not go to church.  I must do better.

God bless all

Mercy May xoxo
