Father why you woke me in this wee hour I may never know
But let me say dear Lord I love you ever so
You are my very breath of life, a gentle hand, a soft voice
I seek you Lord with all my heart and feel my soul rejoice
Abba Father you are mighty God, great Lord, soon and coming King
My hearts desire Lord Jesus to give you my everything
Surrender my life to you in every way I should
To look to you no matter what for YOUR every will and good
To seek your face and not your hand as you lead me to the promised
land
Your creation stands in awe dear Lord of your great and wonderous
love
Your heart so soft, your eyes as gentle as a dove
I love you Lord more than this simple earthy mind can know
So back to bed it is for me and Lord I thank you for this glow
I give this day to you my Lord for YOUR every thought and care
As I lay my head back down, come Lord Jesus is my heart felt prayer!
