A Loving Heart
Give me eyes, Lord, to see hidden tears,
Help me to comfort those filled with fears.
Give me ears, Lord, to hear the plea
Of those who depend and rely on me.
Give me strength, Lord, for those weaker than I,
To share their burdens and not ask, "Why?"
Give me courage, Lord, to forget pain from the past,
To know in Your arms, I can find peace at last.
Give me wisdom, Lord, to plant the seeds,
In those who question what this world really needs.
Give me Your grace, Lord, for it's only through You
I can find the insight to know what to do.
Give me hope, Lord, when new challenges begin,
Through a joyful life that comes from within.
Most of all, Lord, as You taught from the start,
Just give me a kind and a loving heart.
