Please keep in your prayers my son's roommate (platonic - they are just friends). She has two little ones that she left at home with her mother while she went to a bigger town to get some schooling to get a better job to support them. She is divorced. She just found out the little one who is 18 mos. old has a genetic condition which is 100% fatal by early teens. This girl has had her own major medical health issues - she had a brain tumor and had to relearn to walk twice. Now this. She needs all the prayers everyone can send on her behalf and will continue needing them in the upcoming years. I just read how the condition affects the child and it sounds just heartbreaking. Monette, I know you can particularly understand what she is going through and empathize.

Laurie

Laurie, I am just so very sorry to hear about this girl and her little daughter.  Yes, I do understand a little of what she will be going through in the years to come.  My heart goes out to her.  Can you give us their first names?  Do you know what this genetic defect is that the child has?  If the girl has access to a computer she can email me if she wants to talk to me.

I will most certainly be thinking of them and praying for them now and during the coming years.  I hope the girl knows Jesus for it is only through Him that we are given strength and hope to endure these tragic things in our lives.  Thank you for sharing this prayer need with us.  God bless you.

Hi Maggie,

I did an annimated tag for you.
It's no where near as good as the one Katrina made for me,
but I tried my best.
Let me know if you want something else.

Laurie,
Sorry to hear about your son's roomate and his mom.  I will be keeping them in my prayers daily.  I keep a prayer diary and it is getting fuller each and every day.
Thank God for answering prayers.  I believe that He is working on that situation as we speak.  Thank you, Jesus.

Laurie, I am so dreadfully sorry for this mom and her child.

Lifting them up to their Heavenly Father right now.

Lord be with them through all the upcoming years.  I ask for miraculous
healing of this child.  Your Will Be Done.  Amen.

May xoxo
