My best friend Debbie's daughter Haley first got sick about 3 weeks ago..  She was taken to the ER, and was given antibiotics and told to drink plenty liquids to prevent dehydration..

She still had pain in her abdomen, and her temperature was up and down, reaching 104..

Debbie took her to the Hospital yesterday, and they did Emergency Surgery to remove her Appendix.. From what Debbie told me, they said her Appendix was Not  located where it was Supposed to be.. It was abcessed and Somehow it had dropped down and was lodged in the rectal cavity.. She will be in the hospital 7 to 10 days, and will have to wear a Colostomy bag for 8 to 10 weeks..

They got her up twice today and walked her around for about 15 minutes, and it was really hard and a very slow process..

Please keep her in prayer, that God will heal her young body, and that Debbie can be there for her as long as it takes for her to get thru this ordeal..

Shes only 14, and I Know its really scary for her..

Also pray for Debbie to have the strength to deal with this.. Debbie isn't in the best of health either, and is having problems with her spinal stimulator, and very bad migraines..

Love You All, and God Bless..

Doc
