 Hi There!
    I have shared with you how our grandaughter Gabrielle (15), was getting terrible
headaches & dizzy for a while now. They did 3 lots of bloodwork and she has been
waiting for an ultrasound on her head on June 28th. She also has a hearing problem and has 40% hearing left in one ear. On the last x-ray, it showed a black spot which is
some bigger and they don't no what it was from. So we have been very concerned.
Well, this morning I had a call from my daughter-in-love, Bev, and Gabrielle was
badly beaten in the food court of West Edmonton Mall, while waiting for an elevator
with her girlfriend after seeing a movie. She has a broken nose, scratch across her
eyeball and black & blue. Her face is swollen and she took a bad hit to the head.
So, please pray for her, I wish they didn't live so far away. We are in B.C. and they
live in Edmonton, Alberta. She was beaten by two girls (can you believe it) and they
wanted her purse and music player. She loves the Lord and she is a trooper...This
is quite a challenge for a 15 yr. old. Thankyou for your prayers,

oh my gosh, this was just an awful thing to read. I am SO sorry and I hope she is doing better now. She is so young to have had so many bad things happen but it is wonderful that she has a strong faith.
 
My prayers are with her and with all of her family.

 Dearest Maggie, I have been praying for you and Gabrielle.  Thank you for being concerned about me .. now I'm concerned about you.  I guess that's what friendship is all about ..love and concern one for another. 
 
I'm glad to hear that Gabrielle went to her prom after such an awful thing happened to her.  Thank goodness she is okay.  Now you have to take care of YOU too!  I'm glad you are letting your brother take care of your mom.  Don't worry, he will do fine and your mom will be fine too. 
 
I'm really sorry to hear about your ambulance trip to the hospital at 5 am!  That was scary!!  No more of that now, you hear?  Here's a four-letter word for you to remember ... R E S T!!!
