My niece had thryoid surgery yesterday and thankfully that sounds like it went well. My bro is having his heart surgery next Tues. Now my bil called and told dh that their mom is in the hospital with a possible stroke. She has been suffering from Alzheimers for many years and is in her 80's. That is all we know at present but please keep her in your prayers. I haven't been able to get there to see her in several years so I am praying she pulls through ok although not if she will be incapacitated as she has enough to deal with now as does her husband who still cares for her in their home.

 

Sure seems like bad stuff comes in streaks, doesn't it?
