Yea, I have spoken it,
I will also bring it to pass;
I have purposed it,
I will also do it.
Isaiah 46:11

Lord, forgive my impatience. I have no doubt that your promises will be fulfilled. Yet I am like a little child on a long drive, asking, "are we there yet?" anxious to be done with the tedious journey.

Unlike a vacation trip, my journey may go on for years.  some days I feel I will never get there, never see Your promises fulfilled.
Even when one promise comes true and I reach one milestone on my path, I still worry about what's around the next bend.  Some days I stamp my feet in impatience, while other days I fear the journey's end.  Be patient with me, Father. This is all new territory for me. Thank You for your continuous and undenying love. Amen
