Hi There Adam:
Thankyou so much for sharing your testimony with us. I am very glad that you
now know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, because now you will never be alone
with anything that comes along in your life. I too have had a very difficult past, although
quite different from yourself. However, I can personally guarantee you that Jesus will
never leave you or forsake you. When I became a Christian in 1970, my life did not
get easier, in fact, it got more difficult in some ways. But, I was never alone again
with whatever I was dealing with. As I look back, God always brought someone into
my life to help me through a particular time in my life, right when I was ready to give up. He would answer my prayers in ways I never dreamed of. It is quite exciting to
watch just how God does lead us and guide us, while answering our prayers. My
husband also had a very dysfunctional background and when you put the two of
us together it was quite a mixture. He became a Christian in 1974 and it has been
a bigtime growing experience for both of us and still is....One thing that stands out
to me in our marriage is that I had to learn not to expect my husband to meet all my
expectations, but, to give them to God. That of course is a continual experience.
I am learning something new everyday and striving not to look back, but, rather
forward with expectation as to what the good Lord has in store for me...
I am looking forward to getting to know you Adam. You are definitely on the
right track. PBPGINFWMY (Please be patient, God is not finished with me yet)
   Welcome.......
