Hi everyone, thank you all for the warm hellos my age is down wrong in my profile I have tried to change it but am not sure how if anyone can help me. It should be 58. I was married for 31 years to a wonderful man well at least 30 years was wonderful. Then he just started changing so much that we both decided it was best to go our seperate ways and get a divorce before we ended up hating each other because neither of us wanted that. I was devastated but knew it was the right thing to do. I do know that without God O would never have made it even a few months the lonelyness was almost unbarable, I severed all contacts with all my friends because I felt so inbarassed about the divorce which take just over a year here in Canada. First you have to get a legal seperation then wait a year before you can get a divorce. But God never left my side I had some great friends on the internet and they help alot. I had know most of them for several years. One in paticiular Alex help me alot we would talk for hours. At that time I lived in Ontario and Alex lived in BC. I had made arrange to come to BC for a few days and visit and see how things went. Once I returned home we continued talking and in a few weeks realized we wanted eventually to be life parteners. I decided that I would move to BC and a year later we were married. We have just been married over 3 years. We ended up going back to Ontario bucause my sisters cancer had come back for the third time and she was dying... Alex found work there that just got us through. We then had to return to BC because Alex's dad was very sick and almost died. We came back to help out were we could and he steadly got better. Then out of nowhere his mother had a massive strock and was in a coma, she died in 3 days. I have alway prayed and talked to God but the last few months I find myself seeking out groups like this one. We are really on the down and out and manage to keep our phone going and the internet because with out them I would be lost (you see I am disable because of my knees and spend 90 percent of the time inside doing very little walking.) Alex was turned down for UI because he quit his job in Ontario even through it was an logical reason why. He has been looking for work but they all want the younger men it seems. He goes around collecting bottles and cans to pay our bills can usually afford bread and potatoes. So things are very hard. Some months a can get my pills some I can't. But I look to God and he know my pain and our suffering and unshakable faith in trust in him. I am sure he will him us but he has others to take care of to.
