WOAH!  It was one of those nights!  I had bizarre dreams all night!  "Apocalyptic psychadelic brain-taking-out-the-garbage what the hell was that?" kind of dreams.  I had to sit on the edge of the bed and gather my wits about me before I started my morning routine - and I didn't even take any of the "good stuff" last night!  (I'm all out.)  The blankets are all in a jumbled knot.  Diann was curled up in a little ball on the opposite edge wrapped in her own wool blanket, half frozen and the mattress was askew by about a foot!

My mouth tastes like old socks and my eyes are bloodshot red.  If I didn't know better I'd swear I tied one on last night.  Crimony!

I'm off to take a long hot shower, mow my face and gobble down some breakfast then face the crew.

Oy!
Adam

Have you gone on any new medications, Adam???  Or have you taken the medication with something 'strange'....even perhaps some type of food that may have interacted with your medication???

I certainly would try hard to think of anything 'different' that you did last night...or yesterday...anything at all....including food, beverages, etc.  Some beverages have 'strange' things in it lately.

Hope you are able to get some sleep tonight, Adam....I know I don't sleep much at all.....even on Ambien.  But at least that allows me to get 1-2 hours of solid sleep...more than I was getting.

Hang in there...and hope you feel better.
Hugz,
Dee

Here's a strange one for you Adam.  When ever I get sick to where I have a fever I have some really wacky dreams.  That was the one and only time I ever hit Sue.  I had a dream like that and punched her in the side.  Fortuneately she was just at the end of my reach becasue she was about eight months pregnant at the time and didn't get the full blow

Shadow-Dan.

Well I do have a theory based on something you said. You said you were out of the "good stuff" so that couldn't have been it! Well are you sure it wasn't being out of it that might be the cause of the wierd and bizzarre dream?? Someitmes when your body gets used to taking a chemical and it's withdrawn, it can take a few days for the body to have a form of withdrawl from it. You know, it takes time for the build up of a med to clear out of your system. You just never know though.
Not saying anything bad here though kiddo, just surmising what you said. I use Duragesic patches and I don't have any reaction until after I take off  a patch. Then a day or two later, the place where the patch came off with sometimes welt and blister! So go figure, that shouldn't happen that many hours later but it does hahahahaha!

Hi Hissy long time yada yada...

You said about when you take the patch off i had the same problem until a smart pain control personage told me to use hydrocortozone 1% cream a hour before i put the patch on and as soon as i take the patch off i slap more cream on and it takes the dang itch and redness away it's fantastic i highly recomend it! It creates a baria and builds up your bodys resentance to the burn coming from the stickiness made from shrimp shells aparently!

My dh works the nightshift, so when he is home, he'll end up watching TV most of the night.  He has a hearing problem, and often has it up too loud.

You wouldn't believe some of the dreams I've had thanks to his choice of show.

Makes for an interesting experience doesn't it.

Hi crystalsunhflowers; have you considered getting yourself a pair of "TV-Ears"? it attaches to the audio output of your TV set, allows you to completely silence the audio of the TV and the user of the "ears" (earphones) can adjust the volume to his/her own needs without bothering anyone else. we bought 2 sets because i need more volume than my DW whose ears are very sensetive to loud sounds. they work! PS: we got them at Sam's Club which means they are no doubt available at Walmart, too. best of luck.
