Kim, don't give up on getting disability, sometimes it takes several tries. I'm so sorry about your dog. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. They wrap theirselves around our hearts. She knew you loved her, they always do. i had to hold my dog Gizmo, she was 14 and had cancer and was paralyzed in her hind quarters when they put her to sleep. Believe me it doesn't make it easier.
