Actually, what you see here are all the reasons not to bath your cat.
For goodness sakes, unless your cat has fleas and needs to be bathed with flea shampoo, or perhaps you're allergic to dander and in order for you two to co-habitate he/she has to be bathed regularly, DON'T bathe your cat. Your cat will keep him/herself clean.
Or, there are dry shampoos you can use with a flee comb or a good brush to clean your cat.
