Hiya Brett... welcome!
I'm pretty new myself... what guys... you've been putting up with my redundancy about a week now??? I write novels usually, instead of posts.
I am a cancer patient... my third bout, this time metastatic breast cancer to bone, widespread Stage IV and considered terminal. I have however achieved a remission and expect to hang around for a bit yet. I'm one of the lucky ones here... I was misdiagnosed for over two years and the pain got to be horrific. However once I was properly diagnosed and treatment started, my pain levels have reduced significantly and now my meds control it pretty darned well. I'm hoping that once my bones heal better, I will be able to get rid of the narcs... but for now, I am grateful to have them!
Thank goodness you have your wife! That's wonderful... my husband left me for a healthy woman first time 'round... and my boyfriend dumped me a couple weeks ago for another woman this time 'round.
Sorry to meet under these circumstances, but I have found some fantastic people here, I think you will too! Again... WELCOME!
