Your doctor won't give you your medications because you smoke pot?

Where you live, can you get medical marijuana?
Meanwhile, I looked up your meds.
Lisinopril is for high blood pressure and heart problems, your doctor is insane not giving you that!
clozapam, you need that too, it is for anxiety right?
And that last one is a muscle relaxant.

I am worried about you drinking alcohol, it doesn't mix well with your meds, and there is probably still medication in your system.
If you can manage to get some sleep, and tomorrow go in and talk to either that doctor, or another one.  If you can bring someone in for support it may be helpful, as you may not be feeling very well.
Keep drinking water, so you won't dehydrate, and please try and stop the alcohol, it can be dangerous.  I don't think the pot will hurt you though.  Unless it is making you more anxious.
Hang in there.  If you need help with getting off anything, your doctor should be there to support and guide you, ask for help.  Explain you quit drinking and smoking cigerettes, but what medical reason does she have for not wanting you to smoke pot?  It isn't her job to be your mother.
Good luck, sounds like you have a hard couple of weeks ahead of you.

harley- First of all I want to say I like the cut of your jib. Doctors are the commies.

As for the smoking weed thing even though it's been proven medically effective time and again people have a hard time accepting that it works.

It's mostly political, big pharma throws a lot of cash at the government because legalizing cannabis for medicinal reasons nationwide would tank their profits, and since it's something everyone can grow they can't profit from it.

But we're going to get off that subject before I run away with it. Cannabis is a excellent muscle relaxer, if you are on opiates for pain management it's wonderful for potentiating those medications which can of course let the patient take less, there's the sleep thing, and of course for some people it is great for relieving anxiety.

As for finding a doc that can swallow that it's a whole other story. You said you had been on those medications for a long time right? It is possible you are over medicated, the same thing happened to my mom. She had been on meds she didn't need which made her feel really bad until my brother and I took her to not one but three doctors to see if it was really necessary for her to be taking those. It turned out that it wasn't, and once she got off and switched to proper meds she did feel much better.

I would say try to find people in your area who partake and have similar medical issues to yourself and ask which doctors they see and go from there.

Good Luck!!

My neurologist suggested that I smoke pot for my neurogenic pain.  However, I live in Texas, where they take your house and car and throw you in jail and throw away the key if they catch you smoking a joint.  So I told him I didn't think I should.

Self medicating with alcohol is actually a bad idea, my friend.  I know it helps temporarily, but in the long run, it will kill your liver, and it will kill you.  For sure don't take any Tylenol or acetominophen if you're drinking.  That's a sure fire way to kill your liver, OK?

You're in my prayers, my friend.

God bless,

Dan
