Hi.  I'm taking 120mg Avinza each evening.  (It's a timed release morphine.)  The tics could be from the morphine.  I had some minor ones to start with but they disappeared after a few weeks.  The only other side effect that I have experienced is that morphine is notorious for shutting down the kidneys.  My Dr told me to take two vegetable based laxatives each evening with the meds.  I take the generic form of Senekot.  It's called Senna, by Equate, and is sold at WalMart.
