I read that Crying is helpful for our health. Our tears do more for our health that I knew. Holding back our tears could be more harmful for us. Is crying good for you? Let us know how you feel about it. Do you cry? Or are you the kind that holds in?

I do cry...I cry for many reasons. I cry when I'm sad, when I'm angry, when I'm happy (my gf had me laughing so hard last night I was crying), or when I just feel confused and need a good cry. It is healthy for you. I've known that for a long time since I always feel better after a good cry...even if I'm worn out. It's a "cleansing" thing for me...and no, I don't think it's a sign of weakness as some have told me either. It's more of a weakness, in my opinion, to never show emotions like crying. It's not strength... |

I cry over the right music.Sometimes if I think I need a good cry I'll pull out a Patsy Cline record I have.I think the first movie that ever made me cry was Bambi, lol.I think I was 5 or 6.(Bambi's poor mom).Except for funerals(at which I cry freely),I just sniffle at weddings, real life situations hardly make me cry. |

a good cry is very releasing. I know that when the tears start to come that there must be something I need to address in my life. It usually makes me take notice of some feeling I am having that sometimes I wasn't even aware of |

I do cry, much less than I did when I was married, (I cried myself to sleep every night for 16 years), When I feel the need to "unload" I'll play "The Passions of the Christ" and sob my head off, I always feel better aftewards. |
