Marian has found this for you

Mike

Well, in 1901 Annie Osgood is staying at 8 Jack Street, Newbury, Berks. with her widowed grandmother Hannah Osgood age 72 born Wallingford.  She (Hannah) is living on her own means.  Annie is age 13, so was born 1887-1888.

So you have an extra generation.

However, I did find Annie with her parents in 1891.  They are living in Marsh St, Newbury.

Charles H. Osgood    born Speenhamland, Berks.  Cellarman  Age 32
Edith  Osgood   wife   born in Mortimer, Berks. Age 31
Children:
John E. Osgood 9
Edith K. 8
William J. 6
Annie E.  3
Herbert G.  7 months

All children born Newbury.

Then I found Charles and Edith's marriage:

Marriages Sep 1879   (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LAMDIN  Edith     Newbury  2c 409
OSGOOD  Charles Henry     Newbury  2c 409

Charles and Edith are in the 1901 census with children Charles 21, William 16, Herbert 10 and Frank 8.  The other children, including Annie as we know, must have been staying elsewhere that night.

The only Marriage that Shows is the one to Anne,

Would need to check Death records

Hi, I have heard that Charles Osgood son of Charles and Edith Osgood moved to San Fransisco in USA.As he is listed on UK 1901 census it must have been soon after that I am presuming is there any way of confirming this?

    Thanks
