Seeking any information on James Robin.

William Robin was a Taxidermist and either had a shop or lived behind an electricains shop. He can be found in 1901 Belfast Street Census - 10 & 12 Church St - Donegall St to North St .

James Robin either brother or son then took over the shop being a Txidermist too.
James married Isobella?

Not sure what religion they were but they were not RC.

Thanks
Laura

Laura you may find most of those listed in the Covenant are related,There are not to many Robin family. There are Robins with the s,and Robinson.
James would be linked to David as same area
in the IGI THERE IS A DAVID ROBIN,parents William Robin and Francis[Fanny]
Its possible he is a brother of James.

Hi Laura

William and Frances (Fanny) Robin mentioned in Mike's message no. 7 are most likely the same couple as in message no. 2 who were married in Co. Antrim in 1858.
