He traded his human form as a child to save his father from the pain he caused him, and his mother is deceased from a car crash that her and Kira got into when he was young. Kira also wears an amulet filled with blood which seems to hold his life although others just see it as a smiple necklas for show. His father, now in good health, doesn't get to spend a lot of time with him since he is the chief of police while Kira is the leader of the towns' family. The Jagarz is a fairly large yazuka gang that runs most of the middle cities in Japan from about Nagoya to Fukuoka with territories in other countries including China, the U.S, and some European countries. However lately the cops have been funding a new project to get rid of them all thanks to a rival clan that tosses their drugs everywhere.

When he was 23 he started teaching Literature and History at the high school level before his background was found out by the board of enducators and his position releaved a couple of months ago. Before that, around the age of 20 when he was still in college and just an heir to the family he married the grand daughter of the clan who has been raking up all the trouble that they must suffer through now. Sadly in the middle of a turf war she was killed in the cross fire trying to protect a young child who had wandered out into the middle of it. Blaming himself as well as the fool who started it in the first place he decided that his clan was to stay nuetral and try to maintain order in all further conflicts. As he had declared that, so far it has worked though it is quickly crumbling downhill. Now at the age of 25 he has moved to a place where his identity is still mostly a secret and has once more taken up his teaching career.

   A dhampir (half-human,half-vampire).  He has all the powers of a vampire but few of their weaknesses.  Usually very stoic his vampiric side sometimes surfaces uncontrollably.  Being neither human nor vampire Michael has lived a very lonely, nomadic life. He went to a special market to get a binding jewel to keep his powers in check.

Born from more of a noble family he grew up being quite pampered before giving away his status as the second in line for the throne. Mitch tends to live a life that he feels has more excitement in it and became really involved in hip hop dancing, even estabilished his own crew though they disbanned about a year after their last competition.
