The Draco family had allways been a noble clan of vampires using their powers and abilitys to fight for good and many members of the family had in the past been knights and mighty sorceres. But Amethyst were different, he hated the thought of serving and protecting others when as he saw it they should rule over the other races.  Unbeknownst to his father Amethyst studied the dark arts in secret creating abormations in the forms of wraiths, skeletons, fleshgolems and other living dead to     realise his ambitions. When found out his father disowned him and drove him away from this home and even went so far as to warn the knights and sorceres about his sons heretic studies.

Angry with his father and those that  turned his back to him Amethyst vowed revenge on the world and finding an old castle deep in an swamp he continiued his research in the dark arts bent on creating an army of undeads to flood the land with.
