hj, I forgot to comment on the link you posted for October & Tomorrow, I agree very powerful, Bono sounds amazing, & even though we can't see him, I can picture him, singing with such passion, I'm listening to it again right now as I'm typing this. Gives me the chills! |

I just love these Behind the Song....I love the way The Edge talks about Brian Eno and how he just recorded stuff and the magic he managed to capture. **And just in case you need a laugh right now...Larry is fall down funny in this clip, a spot they did for the charity, Comic Relief. | This is a live clip from the concert here in my city...what is cool is I am in that crowd with my best friend, who happens to be named Caroline...singing at the top of our lungs with Mr. The Edge. I think we do a pretty good singalong...this is one of the most awesome moments of my life...we had such a wicked time that night...it was a great concert! hj |

I just love listening to Bono talk about this song....he has a wee interview at the end too so don't miss that bit. Bono: "This is a song written by Peggy Seeger. It's a song...I wished I'd heard this song on the raidio during the miners' strike in England a few years ago. This is called Springhill Mining Disaster." hj |
