Page 5 ALLIE JENSEN Yes you may use my images in strictly personal non-commercial format. Please acknowledge the copyright, and link back to my website. Just learning about the PSP community I would like to see what you are doing with the images, so welcome e-mails from users. Allie Jensen "No Link SAC" | GAIL GASTFIELD I manage an MSN group and would like to know your policy and requirements regarding the use of your art in the making of sig tags. I was unable to find any information regarding this on your website. Thanking you in advance. Cylene ******************** Thank you for your appreciation of my artwork.
I generally allow my images to be used on personal web pages, signature tags and correspondence, so long as it is for non commercial purposes and you leave my copyright statement intact on the image or else include it and a link to my site in the body of the web page. Animation, cropping and removing backgrounds are ok but I don¹t want the artwork to be distorted, made out of proportion or altered so much that it is unrecognizable.
However, I do NOT want my work to be used in collections of downloadable net graphics, for virtual postcards or greeting cards or similar uses. Even though these uses are usually not commercial, it tends to infer that the artwork is free for all to download at will. As a professional artist whose work represents my livelihood, as well as my reputation, I feel it is important to retain more control of the way in which my work is used.
For graphics groups: the graphics created by members can be shared with others in the group as long as all are made aware of the use restrictions and copyrights. I also prefer that my work not be used within adult only, sexually explicit groups.
Thank you, Gail Gastfield

Just as long as you put my name and website URL somewhere on the tag and no money is being made from the use of the art, that's fine. I also ask that whatever tags you make you at least send my way, I'm always interested in seeing what people come up with. I also have banner link images on my website you can use as well. BTW, have you checked out the art gallery CDs I have for sale in my store? There's a lot of hi res scan size images on each cd perfect for things like sig tags, etc No Link-SAC |
