OK, here's something I've wondered about for a while.  In Alison Weir's "The Six Wives of Henry VIII", when she is talking about Anne Boleyn, she says "Anne's origins were uninspiring, although, like all Henry VIII's wives she could trace her descent from Edward I"... and then leaves it there.

Does anyone know how each wife could trace their descent from Longshanks?

Yesm ForeverAmber lives for royal begats LOL & did a whole begats thing once & dredged it up.  There is a photo album here @ AMT called Twisted Trees & methinks one of the trees is how all of the 6 wives were kissin cousins to Henry.  There may be an old FA post on it as well, I'll have a squizz & see.

If you have trouble reading it (tis a miniaturized lil scan there), under Accesories in All Programs on your pc there is a magnifier function BTW

NP....we got so much stuff crammed in here I am quite frankly amazed I remembered we had it & where it was LOL  Hey ya know, some enterprising novelist could approach the 6 wives from THIS angle if they wanted to do a slew of research on each of the 6 families & write an epic starting from EIII
