As always I present this information but leave it to the reader to accept or reject.....always keep and open mind!

 

Have you ever wondered who you are... I mean really are? I'm not talking about a casual thought here or something you briefly think about over a quick cup of coffee. Rather, it's the kind of question one might wonder about while walking the beach at dawn or while quietly sitting on a rock with your feet in a stream.

As you begin to spend some time with this question another one may pop into mind. It's almost as important as the first and the two go hand in hand... "what am I doing here on this planet?"

A useful starting point is yet a third question that strikes closer to home... "am I more than my body?" It's very easy to believe and understand that we are our body because we're in it all the time, it gets hungry, it can hurt, enjoys pleasure, gets old, and so on. Our body seems so natural because we've over-identified with its form and the physical/material world for ages. In the process we've forgotten who we really are.

Let's go to another starting point... one the ancient mystics speak of. They say that before our physical universe was created there was nothing but the Void, the Absolute... the incomprehensible mind of All That Is. In the Absolute, God could only know things but couldn't experience or feel them just like we can "know" something by imagining things with our own minds but find it to be an incomplete experience when our fantasy doesn't happen... when we can't experience or feel it.

God also desired to share love in a more meaningful and fulfilling way. As a result, we were created and All That Is had countless children (souls) to love, to care for, and relate to... unconditionally and for eternity.

In the Void we were all ONE, all a part of God. There was nothing but the most unspeakable joy, bliss, harmony and peace. And yet, two things were still missing... experience and feeling. You see, in the Absolute there is only ONEness, no separation, no comparisons, no judgments and no opposites. All is simply ONE.

And yet, All That Is and we wanted to have experiences and feelings (emotions) and in order to have them a place would have to be created in which opposites exist. That is, for hot there would be cold, for joy there would be sadness, for male there would be female, for sickness there would be health, for anger there would be forgiveness and so on... for everything there was an opposite. If you think about it how else could there be experience and feeling unless there was an opposite for it to be compared to?

In one magnificent act of God's mind, the physical universe as we know it was formed. It was a place of dualities that we could experience and feel... and we were to be extensions of All That Is within this universe so that God could experience and feel it all through us.

God gave us two incredible gifts to enjoy while in the universe... the free will to do anything we want and the power to create whatever our minds could conceive. We then left the Void as fragments or extensions of God and our spirits entered the physical universe to enjoy and appreciate its countless offerings. However, in doing so we agreed to relinquish the memory of who we really are.

That is your heritage. You are a magnificent creation of God. You are perfect in every way. You are more powerful than you realize. You are a fragment of All That Is who loves you unconditionally. You have been gifted by your Creator with unlimited potential. You have not been born with sin but with pure, God-like innocence. Yes, you are the most remarkable and splendid being that God has ever created. In our journey throughout the universe we are constantly trying to remember and re-create Who We Really Are... and who everyone else is. In the process all of us will eventually become ONE again with each other and All That Is.

What are we doing here on planet Earth? Again, the ancients tell us that ages and ages ago, while roaming through the universe, our family or group of souls, discovered this planet of exquisite beauty. However, its vibration and our vibration were not the same. Ours was much higher, much faster while that of this planet was much slower. And yet, we wanted to experience and feel what it would be like to appreciate and enjoy its many wonders, including the plant and animal life that existed here. We also realized that there was a danger in slowing our vibrations down... doing so would threaten our God-centeredness.

In spite of the risk we felt we could do it for a short period of time. So a group of us "descended" into the Earth's 3-dimensional energy field. Over time we lost our way and our God-Oneness by over-identifying with the material pleasures this planet had to offer. Also, in the process, we apparently had to split our male-female oneness into two halves as well and, over the ages, these two halves have been referred to as twin souls.

So there we were, a group of spirits who became more and more trapped within the Earth's environment. Other spirits from our same family who had stayed behind initially came to Earth to help us but many of them also lost their way.

Part of the price we paid for forgetting our ONEness with All That Is was the life-death cycle, sickness, pain and suffering that is a part of 3-dimensional existence. These are not meant to be punishment in any way. Rather, they are there to help us find our way out and in the process we'll eventually begin to awaken to and remember who we really are. But we have to do it on our own. God will help if we ask but the rest is up to us.

Here we are... many ages, many life-death cycles and many lives later. Our goal is to wake up and remember our spiritual natures and heritage. Eventually, we will and when we do we'll leave this beautiful planet, bless the experience we had and return to the spirit form we once were.

Never forget that you are a magnificent child and creation of God. You are a Being of Light. Your Light can reach out with unselfish love to others who will then do the same. Eventually, the entire planet will be filled with Beings of Light and our family of souls will be reunited as spirits once again.

 

OUR MYSTERIOUS DNA

HOW DID 223 UNEXPLAINED GENES
FIND THEIR WAY INTO OUR DNA?

MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW DID WE, OUR SPIRITS,
END UP IN THE PHYSICAL BODIES WE NOW OCCUPY?

Just recently an amazing discovery was announced by scientists who unravelled the mystery of the human genome... the entire DNA genetic code that defines everything about our physical make up. This complex material is not only found in every cell of our body, but in all living things. I can appreciate the implications of such discoveries, especially when something highly unusual occurs.

In simplistic terms, one can think of our DNA as two strands of a pearl necklace twisted around each other, where each pearl represents a "gene" that is responsible for part of what you are. For example, one gene may decide the colour of your eyes, another gene defines the kind of protein that is part of your heart muscle, another gene influences the texture or colour of your hair, and so on. Every part of your body can be traced back to the genes that defined you when one sperm from your father, containing 1/2 of the "pearl necklace," united with one of your mother's eggs containing the other half. At that sacred moment in time the combination of the two DNA halves provided all the information necessary to define, create and sustain you.

The DNA sequences of many other life forms have already been decoded as well, ranging from simple bacteria up through, and now including, humans. Scientists were eager to take all of this new information so that the human DNA code could be compared to the codes found in other forms of life. One of their purposes was to get an idea of how we (our physical bodies) evolved. Here are some very surprising insights we have at this time from that effort...

A tiny fruit fly has 13,601 genes.

It appears we humans have about 30,000 genes, not the 100,000 -140,000 genes scientists had anticipated, since we are far more evolved than other forms of life.

There is hardly any uniqueness to our human genes... for example, our genes are the same as 99% of those found in chimpanzees, and common to 70% found in mice.

Many human genes have similar or identical functions as genes found in other living organisms, both complex and simple.

All of the information that is available about DNA today leads scientists to the conclusion that there was a common source for the DNA that has found its way into every living thing on this planet.

Furthermore, over the ages life forms have become more complex and more highly evolved by adding on more and more of the available, original genes of simpler organisms, some of which had mutated over time. All of it culminated in the eventual appearance of Homo sapiens... us.

One can say that our DNA is in many ways a general blend of all other DNA that exists... with one big exception.

Here is the part that continues to mystify the best scientists in the world... there are 223 genes in the human DNA code that are not found in any other living organisms studied. In other words, it appears we did not inherit this package of genes from any other form of life on this planet.

This raises a very obvious question... where did those 223 unaccounted genes come from? The best our scientists can say is that they came from a "sideways" bacterial infection sometime in our remote past. Said another way, those mysterious genes were implanted, all at once, into our ancestor's DNA code by a bacterial infection. Give me a break on this one. That means you and I are the result of a bacterial infection!

Let's get more creative and open minded. Is it possible that a race of advanced beings visited this planet thousands of years ago and spliced those 233 genes into our ancestor's DNA? Don't laugh. This is not as far-fetched as it might seem. Scientists are doing similar kinds of genetic manipulation experiments today. In addition, there is evidence supporting the "sideways" splicing concept... and part of it can be found on the thousands of clay tablets left behind by the ancient Sumerians who lived almost 6000 years ago. For those who haven't done so already, consider reading the book by world-class scholar Zacharia Sitchen called, Genesis Revisited.

Sitchen will tell you that approximately 300,000 years ago the genetic code of our ancestors was indeed "adjusted" by extraterrestrial visitors to this planet. There is evidence supporting this notion. Recently, in two separate studies, scientists have studied the (mitochondrial) DNA of men and women from around the world in an attempt to trace them back to a common source. Their findings have since been published in several prestigious scientific publications respected the world over.

The scientists showed that one could trace the origin of our DNA back to a point approximately 300,000 years ago, when an original "Adam" and "Eve" existed. Apparently, they were the most recent male and female humans who were our direct ancestors... not the symbolic Adam and Eve mentioned in the bible.

Isn’t it quite possible that the 223 mysterious genes found their way into our DNA code as a result of extraterrestrial influence?

This discovery and other sources of information raise two very intriguing questions... how did we (our spirit-soul forms) end up in physical bodies whose DNA contains these 223 unexplained genes and what are we doing here in such a body here on planet Earth? I've thought a great deal about these questions for quite some time. After all, I'm in one of those bodies that contain these mysterious genes and I'd like to know more about my cosmic heritage.

Here is the best information I can provide at this time. Needless to say, my scientific peers would chastise me quite a bit when you see the source of my information below. However, my science today is often a balance of known facts and what "feels" right to me intuitively. Sometimes it stretches my imagination to the breaking point, but I can't deny its possibilities. I believe it was Einstein who once said that true intelligence is having an open mind...

In whose image was The Adam - the prototype of modern humans, Homo sapiens - created?

The Bible asserts that the Elohim said: "Let us fashion the Adam in our image and after our likeness." But if one is to accept a tentative explanation for enigmatic genes that humans possess, offered when the deciphering of the human genome was announced in mid-February, the feat was decided upon by a group of bacteria!

"Humbling" was the prevalent adjective used by the scientific teams and the media to describe the principal finding - that the human genome contains not the anticipated 100,000 - 140,000 genes (the stretches of DNA that direct the production of amino-acids and proteins) but only some 30,000+ -- little more than double the 13,601 genes of a fruit fly and barely fifty percent more than the roundworm's 19,098. What a comedown from the pinnacle of the genomic Tree of Life! Moreover, there was hardly any uniqueness to the human genes. They are comparative to not the presumed 95 percent but to almost 99 percent of the chimpanzees, and 70 percent of the mouse. Human genes, with the same functions, were found to be identical to genes of other vertebrates, as well as invertebrates, plants, fungi, even yeast. The findings not only confirmed that there was one source of DNA for all life on Earth, but also enabled the scientists to trace the evolutionary process - how more complex organisms evolved, genetically, from simpler ones, adopting at each stage the genes of a lower life form to create a more complex higher life form - culminating with Homo sapiens.

The "Head-scratching" Discovery

It was here, in tracing the vertical evolutionary record contained in the human and the other analyzed genomes that the scientists ran into an enigma. The "head-scratching discovery by the public consortium," as Science termed it, was that the human genome contains 223 genes that do not have the required predecessors on the genomic evolutionary tree. How did Man acquire such a bunch of enigmatic genes? In the evolutionary progression from bacteria to invertebrates (such as the lineages of yeast, worms, flies or mustard weed - which have been deciphered) to vertebrates (mice, chimpanzees) and finally modern humans, these 223 genes are completely missing in the invertebrate phase. Therefore, the scientists can explain their presence in the human genome by a "rather recent" (in evolutionary time scales) "probable horizontal transfer from bacteria."

In other words: At a relatively recent time as Evolution goes, modern humans acquired an extra 223 genes not through gradual evolution, not vertically on the Tree of Life, but horizontally, as a sideways insertion of genetic material from bacteria An Immense Difference Now, at first glance it would seem that 223 genes is no big deal. In fact, while every single gene makes a great difference to every individual, 223 genes make an immense difference to a species such as ours.

The human genome is made up of about three billion neucleotides (the "letters" A-C-G-T which stand for the initials of the four nucleic acids that spell out all life on Earth); of them, just a little more than one percent are grouped into functioning genes (each gene consists of thousands of "letters"). The difference between one individual person and another amounts to about one "letter" in a thousand in the DNA "alphabet." The difference between Man and Chimpanzee is less than one percent as genes go; and one percent of 30,000 genes is 300.

So, 223 genes is more than two thirds of the difference between me, you and a chimpanzee!

An analysis of the functions of these genes through the proteins that they spell out, conducted by the Public Consortium team and published in the journal Nature, shows that they include not only proteins involved in important physiological but also psychiatric functions. Moreover, they are responsible for important neurological enzymes that stem only from the mitochondrial portion of the DNA - the so-called "Eve" DNA that humankind inherited only through the mother-line, all the way back to a single "Eve." That finding alone raises doubt regarding that the "bacterial insertion" explanation.

A Shaky Theory

How sure are the scientists that such important and complex genes, such an immense human advantage, was obtained by us-"rather recently"-through the courtesy of infecting bacteria?

"It is a jump that does not follow current evolutionary theories," said Steven Scherer, director of mapping of the Human Genome Sequencing Center, Baylor College of Medicine. "We did not identify a strongly preferred bacterial source for the putative horizontally transferred genes," states the report in Nature. The Public Consortium team, conducting a detailed search, found that some 113 genes (out of the 223) "are widespread among bacteria" - though they are entirely absent even in invertebrates. An analysis of the proteins which the enigmatic genes express showed that out of 35 identified, only ten had counterparts in vertebrates (ranging from cows to rodents to fish); 25 of the 35 were unique to humans. "It is not clear whether the transfer was from bacteria to human or from human to bacteria," Science quoted Robert Waterson, co-director of Washington University's Genome Sequencing Center, as saying. But if Man gave those genes to bacteria, where did Man acquire those genes to begin with?

The Role of the Anunnaki

Readers of my books must be smiling by now, for they know the answer. They know that the biblical verses dealing with the fashioning of The Adam are condensed renderings of much much more detailed Sumerian and Akkadian texts, found inscribed on clay tablets, in which the role of the Elohim in Genesis is performed by the Anunnaki - "Those Who From Heaven to Earth Came."

As detailed in my books, beginning with The 12th Planet (1976) and even more so in Genesis Revisited and The Cosmic Code, the Anunnaki came to Earth some 450,000 years ago from the planet Nibiru - a member of our own solar system whose great orbit brings it to our part of the heavens once every 3,600 years. They came here in need of gold, with which to protect their dwindling atmosphere. Exhausted and in need of help in mining the gold, their chief scientist Enki suggested that they use their genetic knowledge to create the needed Primitive Workers. When the other leaders of the Anunnaki asked: How can you create a new being? He answered:

"The being that we need already exists; all that we have to do is put our mark on it."

The time was some 300,000 years ago.

What he had in mind was to upgrade genetically the existing hominids, who were already on Earth through Evolution, by adding some of the genes of the more advanced Anunnaki. That the Anunnaki, who could already travel in space 450,000 years ago, possessed the genomic science (whose threshold we have now reached) is clear not only from the actual texts but also from numerous depictions in which the double-helix of the DNA is rendered as Entwined Serpents (a symbol still used for medicine and healing) -- see illustration 'A' below.

When the leaders of the Anunnaki approved the project (as echoed in the biblical "Let us fashion the Adam"), Enki with the help of Ninharsag, the Chief Medical Officer of the Anunnaki, embarked on a process of genetic engineering, by adding and combining genes of the Anunnaki with those of the already-existing hominids.

When, after much trial and error breathtakingly described and recorded in antiquity, a "perfect model" was attained, Ninharsag held him up and shouted: "My hands have made it!" An ancient artist depicted the scene on a cylinder seal. And that, I suggest, is how we had come to possess the unique extra genes. It was in the image of the Anunnaki, not of bacteria, that Adam and Eve were fashioned.

A Matter of Extreme Significance

Unless further scientific research can establish, beyond any doubt, that the only possible source of the extra genes are indeed bacteria, and unless it is then also determined that the infection ("horizontal transfer") went from bacteria to Man and not from Man to bacteria, the only other available solution will be that offered by the Sumerian texts millennia ago.

Until then, the enigmatic 223 alien genes will remain as an alternative and as a corroboration by modern science of the Anunnaki and their genetic feats on Earth.

ZECHARIA SITCHIN

Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce, whom I have a great deal of respect for, said that humans set foot on this planet some 10,000,000 years ago. Here are selected comments from a few of his in-trance transmissions, some of which were given as life readings for individuals while others were given as general information...

"in the land now known as Utah or Nevada, when the first peoples were separated into groups as families... The entity developed much and gave much to the people who were to succeed in that land, and in the ruins as are found in the mounds and caves in the northwestern portion of New Mexico may be seen some of the drawings the entity made, some ten million years ago." (2665-2, July 17, 1925)

"In giving such in an understandable manner to man of today, (it is) necessary that the condition of the earth's surface and the position of man in the earth's plane be understood, for the change has come often since this age of man's earthly indwelling. Many lands have disappeared, many have appeared and disappeared again and again during these periods. At that time, only the lands known as the Sahara, Tibet, Mongolia, Caucasia and Norway appeared in Asia and Europe; that of the southern Cordilleras and Peru in the southwestern hemisphere and the plane of (present) Utah, Arizona, Mexico... The numbers of human souls then in the earth plane being a hundred and thirty three million... The period in the world's existence from the present time being ten and one-half million years ago..." (5748-1; May 28, 1925)

The next time period mentioned by Cayce for human existence on earth was about 100,000 years ago during the time of Atlantis. That leaves a big gap of time for which he provides no information regarding past human activity on planet Earth.

Did Edgar Cayce ever mention extraterrestrials? Yes he did. He gave a reading for one of his patients, who evidently lived during the time of the Mayans. In trance, he describes changes taking place on Earth and mentions the "visitors." Cayce said:

"It was just before that period when those as from the east had come, and there were the beginnings of the unfoldments of the understanding that there were other portions of the same land, or those that were visiting from other worlds or planets�? (1616 - 1:27)

Interestingly, Edward Cayce also told of the location of the dead sea scrolls 7-10 years before their actual discovery!

Nancy Red Star

The following excerpt taken from the back cover of the recent book "Star Ancestors" by Nancy Red Star, a daughter of the Cherokee...

And all state that the ETs helped humanity in the distant path by saving portions of civilizations from total annihilation... and they are here today with us.

Our Souls

In order to appreciate our cosmic adventure, what it is all about and why we find ourselves in-body on planet Earth we need to understand our soul and what it is trying to accomplish. In today's hectic world of malls, cars, mortgages and a shop till you drop dysfunctional way of life, many people have forgotten about their soul. Others, such as you, want to know more about yourself, your cosmic heritage and what life is all about.

Your soul is a fragment of God. It was created at the beginning of time, space and the material universe in which we now live. As such, it is an incredibly powerful and knowledgeable form of immortal energy. Your soul realizes that God is a constantly changing and growing force of all-loving intelligence that will continue to become more and more of Itself throughout eternity. Your soul has one desire and only one desire... to become God-like and return to its Source. That desire will go on for forever. All of this is an incredible and humbling thought.

In order to try and become God, your soul needs to feel and experience all it possibly can in the material universe. By feeling and experiencing ALL things it will come to understand all things. That understanding will lead to compassion. Compassion leads to a lack of judgment and forgiveness all of which leads to unconditional love... and that is what the Source of All is.

The soul has an ability to send projections of itself into different realities and different dimensions at the same time. It does so to experience and feel as much as possible at the same time. You, as a spirit, in-body, on planet Earth, in 3-dimensional reality, are one of those projections... and a very important one at that. All of the experiences and all of feelings you are having are part of your soul's memory. The sum total of all its memories, from all the projections it sends into the multi-dimensions that exist, bring it closer to or away from its Creator. All of this leads to a very important question. How did you, as a projection of your soul, get here... and when did it all begin?

Shirley MacLaine

At one point in her recent NY Times best selling book, The Camino, Shirley MacLaine finds herself talking to a spirit called "John the Scot," while in a deep, meditative trance. He described the process of creation for her, how ultimate Spirit and ultimate mass interacted to form universes within universes, dimensions within dimensions, countless galaxies, planets... as well as countless souls so that God could experience and feel the entire creation through us. His description of creation and how we came to planet earth and lost our way is the most thorough and best I've seen yet. Its theme is also quite consistent with others that feel right to me. A small part of that description is cited below...

"Over billions of years," John explained, "These souls evolved, charged by the Deity (God) with being co-creators of physical life - trillions of pairs of twin souls, of soul beings tumbling and whirling and circling through space until some came to the planet earth itself, while others spun off to other planets in the galaxy to discharge their duties on other worlds.

... and each soul was androgynous. And each pair of androgynous soul mates (twin souls) had its own unique electromagnetic frequency in which they were both bound up.

Their purpose was to bear witness to the Deity and serve the Divine will, which would in turn be serving their higher selves. And to do this, the Deity gave the children of light the greatest gift of all - free will: the ability to set oneself free, to choose one's own master.

With the first wave of souls that came into the earth plane, a metamorphosis occurred. As their light shifted to the earth plane, their crystal images began to take on the magnetic frequencies of the earth. As they tumbled and glided to the earth plane into ancient swamps and jungles, they became fully mature angelic beings... They were to be co-creators of the life forms on earth, thereby expressing their own individuality in the process.

And so the souls of light began to create life... Through the movement of time and space (tens of thousands of years)... the souls assigned to earth began to become fascinated with the physical earth... they materialized life-forms and the life-forms were of fascinating interest to them... and being of free will, they became enamoured of their own creations.

"They created beings of only yin energy frequency; they created only yang energy frequencies; they created mixtures of yin and yang and positive and negative."

Then they became seduced by the beautiful creations of their own making, believing in many ways that they had created greater beauty then the Great Spirit. Thus, they became rebellious in nature, moving closer and closer to their physical works and further away from the Divine Deity, until eventually they became completely attracted to their physical creations and fell from grace into the physical plane.

Felled by the very forces of creativity that they had set in motion, they became one with their creations, rather than remaining in the state of oneness with the Divine Deity.

Some of the creatures the soul children created were beautiful and harmonious, reflecting their specific creators, and some were so ugly and bizarre (reflecting those who were moving too fast) that they had to be devolved.

Some of the souls became drunk with their ability to materialize and would not slow down, and their creations reflected their disharmony and went out of control.

The archangels... watched in disappointment as the virtual ballet of distorted evolution unfolded. They watched their soul brethren, out of control, begin to incarnate into the beings they so needed to control. This was the original fall from grace.

Their fall from grace was so complete that they became that which they created, forgetting their divinity, and for the first time experienced pain and fear at the physical level.

They lost their consciousness of being children of light and fell totally into the material plane, experiencing not only pain but sensuality as well.

It was a collective mistake made by the original souls.

The conflict for survival of the fittest began, setting off for the first time upon earth the law of cause and effect, or the law of karma, because all energy always returns to itself.

In each case, every individual soul's task was to remember its own Divine nature and return to it.

The Great Deity and the archangels understood that a purge of the chaos the souls created would be necessary. The denser life forms, who by now panicked with fear and distortion, had to be swept away. The life force was then cut off from these beings... hence the extinction of the huge animals known as the dinosaurs (over 200 million years ago)."

At this point in time the archangels decided to create a new environment for the souls (us) who had lost their way. The archangels also knew that a vehicle had to be created that could serve as a physical body to house each lost soul (fragment) so that a state of divine connection could eventually be remembered. Without the divine connection, the lost souls were in a state of what we have come to know as "hell," a spiritual amnesia that results when we are separated from God.

"But the form and the souls needed to evolve together... And so the lower primates became the original vehicle for man's evolution and return to the Deity, the first step for redemption.

Evolving simultaneously in other parts of the universe in neighbouring galaxies were other beings. Some had developed higher spirituality, some higher technologies, some both.

Seeking to carry out the work of the Great Creator Deity, they observed the situation on planet earth and endeavoured to speed along the process of evolution... Thus, the extraterrestrials began the contributive gift of speeding up the evolutionary pattern by using crystal technology,(Atlantis?) genetic engineering and interbreeding with the primates, both physically and psychically. This process was actually the missing link in the evolutionary line on earth.

As a result of physical and psychic influences, man suddenly appeared with no seeming intermediate connection to the primates that preceded him. As a result of the extraterrestrial contribution, the souls were shocked back to consciousness.

The more aware they became, the more complete they became, and thus the more the divinity of the soul shaped the physical body into a form that reflected the newly awakened divine soul itself, the physical body that expressed the perfect balance of male and female, yin and yang, the positive and negative spark that was the essence of the Deity.

The creation of this new ADAMIC race occurred over millions of years. Eventually, with the help of the extraterrestrials, it established itself as a civilization in an area called Lemuria, the original Garden of Eden. At that time a second wave of extraterrestrials joined with the evolving lost souls to accelerate their development and help them become the Lemurian human. And always, the goal was to re-establish the divine connection for the lost souls. Interestingly, the Lemurian was neither male or female... it was both, an androgynous human that was composed of twin souls.

Over the next hundreds of thousands of years, the second wave of extraterrestrials not only brought laws, culture and spirituality to Lemuria, they also wanted to be revered as gods as well. That did not bode well with the archangels and the extraterrestrials were told to stop interfering with the destiny of the Lemurian humans. From that point forward, the angels also wanted humanity to work through its spiritual identity on its own. All of this occurred towards at the height of the Lemurian civilization, probably around 500,000 years ago.

At the same period of time there was an advanced colony of Lemurians living on Atlantis. These Lemurians were very impressed with a race of technologically advanced extraterrestrials, who had established a base on that continent. The extraterrestrials warned the Lemurians that they should not lose the spiritual connection with their homeland. The latter chose to ignore this warning and the collective consciousness that existed between the two groups of Lemurians brought about great turmoil and division. Out of this imbalanced state, individual Lemurians developed the ego, selfishness and self-centeredness was born and a ruling class was established. This rift worsened over time and the original, collective consciousness of the Lemurian civilization was destroyed.

Since the original Lemurian collective consciousness was very tied in to balance and harmony with nature, its destruction brought about great cataclysmic upheavals in the homeland. As a result, the continent of Lemuria was destroyed by earthquakes and the like and eventually sank into the sea.

Evidently the remnants of the Atlantean Lemurians, who were well into the practice of separation continued to lose their spiritual way of life. At some point, perhaps 300,000 years ago, they decided to end the androgynous state by creating separate physical, male and female, bodies to house the separated masculine and feminine aspects of the soul. This division of twin souls into separate bodies was a very tragic event emotionally and that memory remains with us today as we continually seek our other half.

Over thousands of years the wayward Lemurians living on Atlantis abused the environment, misused technology and drifted further and further from God-centeredness. This led to more destruction of their collective consciousness resulting in the eventual, final destruction of Atlantis about 13,000 years ago. The remnants of the survivors of Atlantis, who had retained their spiritual ways, set off in two general directions... one group migrated to Egypt and the other to the Yucatan. These surviving remnants became the start of the current human race.

There is a lot to think about on this page. Within all of this information, I sense there is a general theme of truth. It leads me to the following general conclusions...

I believe we came to this planet a long time ago and have been here a very long time.

At some point we over identified with the material world and its pleasures and lost our divine connection.

Since that time we have been trying to remember who we really are.

We remember who we really are whenever we awaken to our true spiritual nature.

I believe that over the ages there has been extraterrestrial influence in our destiny as humans.

I can't account for the extraterrestrial interaction that Sitchin speaks of. Perhaps it was a event that took place parallel to the times of Lemuria and Atlantis.

I believe there was a Lemuria and an Atlantis... and that we have soul memories of these places because of our past lives there.

I believe that these continents were destroyed by a breakdown of the collective consciousness of their inhabitants.

I believe that we as a civilization have been given the opportunity once again to balance the material and the spiritual so that we don't have to repeat the kinds of physical cataclysms that destroyed Lemuria and Atlantis.

Today there is a massive spiritual awakening taking place on planet Earth as people begin to remember their cosmic heritage.

This spiritual awakening can help to transform this planet, its inhabitants and the overall collective consciousness. In the process, it will bring about an environment of peace, harmony, sharing and unconditional love.

Sooner rather than later the real history of the human race will finally be known... that will include the interaction of extraterrestrials with our ancestors.

We currently find ourselves in body because many of us are part of the group of souls who lost our way ages and ages ago. We will break this cycle when we no longer let ego and fear dictate the path of our life. At that point we will finally end the spiritual amnesia we've been in for a long, long time. Then we will regain our God-centeredness as we remember who we really are... Beings of Light who came from the stars.
