Anyone in here fancy dream interpetation? Meaning, do you think your good at it? Dream interpetation can be highly personal, but there are universal symbolisms that apply to the human psyche. Do you have any recommendations you use for working them out? I'm interested in your feedback. What do 'you' do with dreams that have a feeling of impact or a message?

I had a dream at dawn Friday morning and I haven't been able to forget it. I feel like it means something and every time I think of it I get a feeling that I'm missing some information. Plus... a rarity ... my dream is as crystal clear today as it was the moment I woke up.
I was in what could have been a daycare or classroom and one of the kids was acting totally out of character (badly) we were arguing about him doing something and I said 'No'. I picked him up out of a chair and a red cloth fell out of his pocket. I looked at it a minute and went to pick it up. He (the kid) kept saying "she won't leave me allow" I asked who and he said "Holly"

I straightened up and looked around and saw to men standing off to the side watching the scene. I knew right away that they were not just men ... something other, like spirits. The one was surprised to see me looking at them. They were big and dark like mexican or native with jet black collar length hair, big dark eyes and mustaches, looked enough like they were kin. The one that was looking at me raised his hand to his moustache and I noticed these rubies on his hands ... enormous sparkling and mesmerizing rubies at least 2 inches long and shaped like caskets mounted on gold ... I knew they opened. He didn't say anything, even when I said they had to leave. I looked around trying to find the female I knew was there but couldn't see. I said "Wheres Holly"

A native/mexican woman volunteer walks in and says "Holly? shes dead. She was my cousin" And one of the men nodded silently.

I started getting a bit worried and simply knew that these 3 entities had to go, they felt malicious. So I did something to banish them (something that involved me stamping my foot with a loud bang) and they disintegrated into red light and flew out the window like bright misty red streaks ... I followed them and watched them sink into the ground of this meadow out in the middle of nowhere. Like they just soaked in. Where the red mist went in flowers began to grow. They grew fast and beautiful and once it was a full grown garden it was a stunning collection of tall wild red and purple flowers ... a haunted garden full of malice.

It was waiting. Next out of nowhere comes this couple looking at the land, they don't see me ... just this beautiful wild garden and they decided to buy the land and build a house there ... and I have no way of stopping them because it would be a very bad idea... the garden wants them, and as I'm sucked backwards (literally) I can feel the satisfaction of the spirits ... Then I wake up.

Merry Meet,

My answers to your questions are:

Anyone in here fancy dream interpetation? Meaning, do you think your good at it?

No I am not good at it. But I try to understand my own dreams.

Dream interpetation can be highly personal, but there are universal symbolisms that apply to the human psyche. Do you have any recommendations you use for working them out?

I use my common sense and a dream book. Sometimes I ask around for ideas from others. But mostly I manage to work them out myself.

I'm interested in your feedback. What do 'you' do with dreams that have a feeling of impact or a message?

Some dreams refuses to leave my head, when I am awake. They mostly have a hidden message, somewhere. Those dreams I write down and try to understand. If I don't understand the meaning of them today, then perhaps over a month or two.

Blessings

Serena

In my own experience the dreams that stay with me for days weeks etc have a greater meaning.  Sometimes it is a vision with a hidden meaning and it is meant for me sometimes it is meant for someone elses and I have to figure out who its for and tell them. Then poof the memory is gone.  Sometimes it is a peek into someone elses life.  I say that because I dont think it is mine as sometimes it is within a short time past.   So for your dream............ The color is obviously signifigant.
Perhaps it is just a peek into something that you cannot change but need to be aware of.
Thoughts of the vortex come to mind again so perhaps you are just glimpsing pieces of that.
Interesting though.
Just my two cents

After having studied Freud and gone through a psychology class, I'm not too tempted to believe the psychanalytical approach towards dream interpretation. If you look at something hard enough, you will be able to find whatever you want to find. For that reason, I'm skeptical towards dream interpretation... particularly those who are based on Freud's concepts of "its all about sex".

No, I do not want to sleep with my mother!

Having been subjected to Freud in my psychology classes ... I believe it is completely valid to say that the man should have been tarred and feathered. And has no business coming anywhere near my dreaming mind. However ... I do believe that dreams are a unique conversation, and if you know the language you are precieving then it has the potential to broaden your own scope of vision and understanding. The hard part is understanding what you see.

For instance, there is a dream divination that I've done that produces surprising things. Its a simple  Yes or No divination with black & white symbology. For 3 nights you literally watch your dreams and look for the predominant colour ... your choice as to whether you want to believe it is a message from the gods or your own intuition speaking.

Very interesting dream Red. The three spirits seem to symbolize death and things governed by Scorpio. The red coffin-like gems could represent Mars as the governor of Scorpio which is represented as the 'Death' card of the Tarot. Inverted Scorpio energies can mean that hidden things of an unpleasent nature can be coming to light or also the results of improperly used magickal forces.

The innocent child and the couple being taken in by the garden of malice created by the dark spirits are the same symbolically imo.

I think your dream could mean that you're concerned about someone taking an ill-advised path in relation to occult practices.

It's just a guess but I hope it helps... --L.B.
