Amber Alert                          ~ Live Alert ~   CodeAmber.org was established in August of 2002 to extend the reach of every Amber Alert to the World Wide Web. Betwixt the Sea and Sky is pleased to provide this Amber Alert for our members.   The Amber Alert system is a voluntary partnership between law enforcement agencies, the media, the OPP, Child Find, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Ministry of Public Safety and Security. Heres how it works ~ once police officials have confirmed a missing child, details are broadcast on radio stations, television stations, cable companies and on overhead electronic highway message signs.
