Within the world of dreams and imagination, quite often a thread of the insane rolls in and redetermines our stand on who and what we are. Many times you dream and time passes idly by without acknowledgeing the insights within the dreams of past and present. Are dreams the creations of confused and stressed souls, or are they the light being shed by the divine to make us stop and realize the potential within? Should we take notice and look for understanding of what the dark recesses of the mind are putting across, or should we, with a nod and slight smile, forget it ever was? Dreams are can be an staggering gift of self-enlightenment or they can be feared and keep us locked within the vicious circles of our lives. There is alot of difficulty in recognizing the importance of this or that dream, yet without a careful examination of them all we can easily lose an important view into ourselves. Knowing yourself is paramont for any great excercise in self. Without fully knowing yourself you cannot fully know others. To those of us that are tormented daily, weekly, or nightly with visions of distress and horror, dreams can seem to be a bane of unparrallel proportions. The problem with that is by allowing fear to overcome and encapsulate you within a dungeon of terror, you paralyze yourself into inaction, not truly living...but fear is like that. It is interesting the various themes, motiffs, and types of dreams have different affects upon various individuals. All in all dreams are mighty powertools for the seekers of self and who you are. Learning to control and remember your dreams can do nothing but help you find yourself. |

Well said. I've oftened questioned 'why' so many people seek to have visions, why they try so hard to 'learn' how to 'see', when so much of the time it seems more a curse than a blessing to begin with. The reason I say this, is because the visions we have mean so very little to anyone other than us, people look at you as if you have sprouted 9 heads when you tell them you 'know' something is going to happen until the thing does occur and then they can't decide if they trust you or fear you. Even in my own family this 'ability' if you can call it that, has pretty much ostracized me, so there are only a select few of them I will speak about it with. People in the occult community at large have told me I should charge for it! Make money off of it.... I'm gonna step in the sh** pit with this one most likely, but it's anti-sacred and defamatory to me to charge for it. That's probably the native blood speaking through me, but I just don't believe in it. If it 'is' a gift and it's meant for someone else, why would you charge for it, you're simply a messenger, not the message. Tay |
