How strange it is that it seems every generation belives they are a cut above anything else that has ever come. Its a good attitude since adheration brings about many great things. Doesn't it seem that everything is going just a bit faster then it used to? Listening to the movie thats on right now, its a biogrophy about The Doors. Jim Morrisen brings the band out into the desert to smoke peyode like the Shaman's. They all see visions (which is the point of peyode) and it seems that their ambition soars higher and higher. He gathers them into a group and says "We're a tribe now, a tribe of Warriors." Immediately it just clicked right in, things go so fast in this age. Elder Warriors were the most reveared of the tribes right next to the Medicine men. They all underwent a complete lifetime of experiance to gain their respect as the Elite, the alpha males of the pack. Now here we are in the digital age, all Warriors, all Mystics, all Seers, all Gods. I would like to consider myself a Warrior, but frankly, I could never see myself on any level close to the tribal Warriows. I've never been in a great battle, fought for and sacrificed everything for the good of those around me, taken Life and Death into my hands and placed the judgement upon them. I could pick up a gun, enlist in the army and go kill some people who threaten our way of life by forceing our government to see the attrocities that are spreading through the world. Point the end of that barrel at a man who is fighting for his ideal, blow his head off and bring the years and years of Life this man had to mean absolutely Nothing. Would that then make me a Warrior? I think not.

How easy it is to create semantics which prove to yourself that you are Just in your actions, that You are the sole light of Reason within the world, and all else is a threat that must be dealt with by any means necissary. That same ease is that which comes from pushing a button and launching a bomb or missle that can kill hundreds of thousands. A Warrior never had that luxury of semantics and extreme distance from another's plight. He would be there stareing his enemy in the eye putting his Life before this man fighting for survival.

We're no longer survivalists, we've learned how to go beyond living life just to survive. We're now specialists, consumers, disposers, abolishers. Desperately moving about now contending with our instinct, we don't fight and kill for survival, we fight and kill because we HAVE to. To survive, we MUST kill. We must use the protiens and nutrients from other living organisms so that we can live on. Now that we don't need to kill the animals ourselves, we're preying upon the next best thing; other humans. Land is no longer an issue of life or death, it can be bought, traded, worked for, a new place all together can be claimed, Life no longer depends on gaining land, it depends on our Will. So then why do we still fight, brawl, WAR on one another? Because our minds need to channel this inherant bloodlust we're all born with. Stabbing our well done meat does nothing to sate this bloodlust. So we quench it through the next logical (the cousin of Reason which needs to be destroied) median, the destruction of each other. the destruction of what we all seek, Purpose.

Our natural tendencies are for Death and Destruction. We congrigate with those who can do the task and those who can support it. We all want to destroy, WHY?! (another term which needs to be abolished, it is not needed, the Universal Consciousness should REIGN SUPREME, and when I speak, you should KNOW exactly what is coming, for it is of You as well) So that we may bring ourselves to exactly the end game of all we acomplish. Nothing. We want Nothing, we NEED Nothing, we can't live without it and we never would want to. What do YOU fight for? Your posesions? Your peers? Your loved ones? All are things you desire, desire stemming from the absence of what could be, Nothing.

We're all moving too fast, wanting everything to come sooner, infants trying to fix the World. One day, we're all gonna crash, and no one is going to remember what to do about it.

Each thought, like a skimming stone across the pond of consciousness, even skip an originator of its own thought ripples ...

The first bounce ... I agree that in this time and place humanity has misplaced its value system and put it on fast forward.. we are a society of instant gratification that money and lies can buy. In another time experience was the currency of Life and Respect, it was proff that you knew enough not only to survive but to excell in your choosen path ... today a book, a dollar, the right connection or the right drug gives the perfect illusion of empowerment ... One that allows the majority of humanity to think they are something special in their mundane and everyday lives ...

bounce ... Accountability... it means little, even in our justice systems. Society has 2 levels... the higher ideal  of what 'should' be that is a much lauded mockery instead because of corruption and other factors. Then there is the real life eye for and eye that governs us still... an age old response for justifable survival. Only in certain circumstances is one on one combat accepted nowadays... but the eye for an eye still thrives in revenge and backstabbing of all kinds all in the name of Reason. Just what is a true warrior anyway?

skip ... No we are no longer survivalists.. we are a plague, a scurge of nature that She must truly regret from time to time. We operate under the false assumption that we are superior, the top of the life chain, the masters of all we survey ... we are foolish children stumping around our enclosed yard because we haven't figured out how to get out of it and trash the neighbours yard. We war on each other because we can, because we are deluded by grandoise ideas that We are better they THEY are and We should own everything they have... we kill because we can... out of Lust, Revenge, Hate, Greed ... we lie to ourselves and others just to have the opportunity to kill another ...

slip ... our natural tendancies are not death and destruction... it is Life and continuance. We are trained through social and familial perception to think of ourselves as supreme. Universal consciousness is yet another tale we tell ourselves, it is simply better packaged and more appealing then the thought of single shinning stars alone out in the dark... it gives us comfort and purpose. It says strive ... for we are one.. But are we? How do you know? because you believe it? The idea that we should embrace Nothingness is in direct opposition to Being... why should you even exist if it is to be Nothing... why do you live, if for Nothing?

Someday never comes... but one day has arrived.

It has theorized for going on 200 years that, and seemingly proven recently by DNA research that point B is correct, until the organism overbreeds, and then point A occurs. Our DNA patterns have been evolving through natural selection for billions of years. If a animal is overcrowded, aggression is coded into our nature as a way of thinning the population so as not to use up all the resources which would prevent longterm continuance.
