Actually, it no longer bothers me ... like Gypsy, I've modified it to suit my own inclinations, lol The god that I sing of, happens to be Cernunnos or Herne ... those who I feel embody the spirit of my land. This fact may freak a teacher or three out, but what the heck? Besides I am very patriotic of my nation and am hell on wheels when I find students wandering or showing disrespect during the brief rendition of the anthem ... french or english is being sung.
Believe it or not I'm even less flexible when it comes to prayer in school .... either remove the Lord's Prayer all together or create an all inclusive one for Humanity.
