I only give my birds water in their bowls. Occasionally, as a treat, I'll give them a sip of fresh squeezed juice.

Their avian vet said to feed fruit in moderation because they are so high in sugar. I have a Cockatiel, Hahn's Macaw, Indian Ringneck and White-eared Conure.

I'm not much of a juice drinker myself but my guys like an occasional sip of orange juice.  They'd have it every day, I think, if allowed to do so.  (We all like sugar, I guess.)

I tried juices a while ago but my birds turned up their beaks and said--No way. They want crunchy.
It is safe to give them small amounts of most fruit juices--not fruit drinks. Watch for hyper actions and more biting and screeching. If that happens, stop the juice.
I am positive that fruits cause mine to be more bitey than usual so I rarely feed fruits in any form. There's not a bunch of nutrition in fruits anyway so it's better to give them veggies and veggie juices if you can find very low sodium veggie juice.

Occasionally, Twiggy gets a bit of apple  juice or pineapple juice mixed in with her breakkie.  She loves getting it that way.  Glory turns her nose up at anything but water, but seems very interested in whatever I am drinking with a straw....I think mainly she's interested in the straw as they both get straws as toys.  di
