Jeremiah 11: 14.  Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
 15.  What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

 16.  The Lord called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

*******************
 17.  For the Lord of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

 18.  And the Lord hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.

*****************
 19.  But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

******************
 20.  But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

 21.  Therefore thus saith the Lord of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hand:

 22.  Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
 23.  And there shall be no remnant of them
 .......

**************

Now, Look at verse 16-- this is speaking of the Olive Tree Paul spoke of in Romans.  This is Jesus - He is speaking of the O.T. tree = the Old Covenant, of which Jesus came the first time.

See that it said they broke the branches of this tree off?  And set fire to it?

This is the destruction of the Old Covenant.

See that verse 17 shows that even though God planted this tree, He is destroying it?

He did this because of their evil.

Verses 18, 19, and on down is Jesus speaking.  See it is proven in v.19--speaking of the crucifixion.

Read verse 19-- Jesus said He knew not tht they had devised devices against him,  saying, Let us destroy the tree (see Jesus' tree)-- (that Olive Tree)-- but it is really the Old T. Tree--

.....with the fruit of it = the Old T. fruit .........Let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

Now, this was the Priests, the Pharisees, the Jews altogether, speaking of killing Jesus and cutting the remembrance of His name off.  They wanted to destroy Grace, which He brought; for they knew it would 'kill' their old tree of self-righteousness = the works of the  Law.  They wanted no part of Grace = of love, forgivnesss, salvation apart from the works of the law -- for this put them down out of their high seats.

Jesus promised to put down those who were high, and lift up the ones who were low.

They did not like this;  for then they would not be lifted up above others.  Pride -  which God hates.

Read v. 20--Jesus prayed to see God's vengeance on them.

v22-  God speaks back to Jesus --- I will punish them...... they shall die by  FAMINE. (this is that famine for hearing the words of God spoken of in Amos.)

v23- there shall be no remnant of them ---  No remnant of law-keepers to God.

**********

Now I know these law people like to take those words and say we live lawless because of this;  Nope,  we are the only ones who keep the commandments of God -- we do it by His Spirit; not by the works of the law.  We do it by His nature which He put into us.

Jo

Gal. 5:14~~~~~  For  ALL   the   LAW  is   FULFILLED  in     ONE     word, even in this;  Thou shalt    LOVE  thy neighbour  as thyself.

****       *********        *********       *********
ALL     the    LAW    is   FULFILLED          in         ONE   WORD-

LOVE.

ALL       THE    LAW    IS  FULFILLED     IN  ONE WORD         LOVE ---- LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE     YOURSELF.

DO UNTO OTHERS AS   AS    AS   YOU WOULD  HAVE  THEM  DO UNTO  YOU.

Thus, you are not  UNDER  law ,  but rather fulfilling the law by Grace, = LOVE.  Not the  WORKS of the LAW.

LOVE!!!!!!!!

I saw this is the message above -- I see this as the same thing you are speaking of about the holidays -- that this is the same thing today of offering incense unto Baal.  This is provoking God to anger today as it did them.  See what the results were?  He destroyed them;  He will destroy all those who after should live ungodly.

Matt. 21: 33.  Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
 34.  And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

 35.  And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
 36.  Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

 37.  But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

 38.  But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

 39.  And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
 40.  When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

 41.  They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
 42.  Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

 43.  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
 44.  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

 45.  And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
 46.  But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

 *****************************************

See, the above verses show that the religious Jews of Jesus' day were trying to destroy that Holy Tree, Jesus.

Yes, they denied trying to kill him.  but it proved out that they were seeking to destroy him all the time, just as He said.

They still hate that true Tree and seek to destroy it.

Another thing:  many times now and in the past, Satan has slyly sent his evil workers in here to set up stupid foolish arguings over nothing, to keep their ungodly mess at the top.  This causes those who come here to read and study God's Word to have nothing except bickering and battling over foolishness to read.

That is all they see on the top half of the first page.  And I can assure you, that is all most people ever take the time to look at.  So what do they see when they visit here?  Junk spead everywhere.  the work of devils.  And know what?  I let myself get caught off guard many time and allow this to continue day after day.

I sit here wearing myself out trying to set something straight with someone who has no interest in anything except destroying the Work of God which is being done here.

I am fully aware of this now.  And I intend with the help of God to stop it.  As I said, anyone who does not like it,  is fully free to go elsewhere.  In fact I hope they do.

God will give these messages to the ones He wants to have them.  But it is up to us managers to see that some good, truthful messages stay at the top of this first page.  In fact I intend to fill up this page with good stuff and keep it that way.

So all you little workers of satan, be warned,  I will  DELETE YOUR MESS IF I HAVE TO TO KEEP IT OF MY FIRST PAGE.

So anyone who continues to bring those 'NOTHING' messages to the top, I will delete them.

I am in a battle for God and the souls of those  who desire eternal life.  I intend to fight a good fight as Paul did.

So help me God.

what a womnderful message. and I say  the world or religion today is still trying to destroy God's tree with the true branches.  I see some very ugly stuff coming from some of those who claim to be his anointed.
