To disable auto play cd, hold down the shift key while putting in the cd, this is temporary.

 

 

 

To permanently disable the Autoplay feature for CD’s, start Windows
Explorer and select View/Options/File Type.  Scroll through the list
until you reach AudioCD and select it.        Press the Edit button and
then
select Play.  Press the Edit button and delete the command "/play"
after CDPLAYER.EXE.  Press Okay and Close.
