They turned our power back on between 8 and 9 thursday night. Six days of no power, at least to say it was not very hot like after Katrina hit New Orleans. I will be uploading pictures for everyone to see what our neighbor looked like after the storm passed.
The had nine trucks on our street and they took down several branches out from Monette922's backyard after she just had it cleaned up. Ater I get the pictures upload I will post the link to them for you all to view. There is a link to our newspaper below that has 106 pictures posted of Hurricane Ike's destruction to our town.
I stood and watched Hurricane Ike either in my carport or back door. I just love the weather, it has no fury. Our neighborhood is in a shape of a horseshoe so the top half of the other street still has no power and they are suppose to get lights today.

Thanks for sharing these pics. There was hardly any news coverage to see the wide spread damage of IKE.
