DAY FIVE
SEEING LIFE FROM GOD'S VIEW
God continually tests people's character, faith, obedience, love, integrity
and loyalty. Throught trials, testings, temptations and refining. Character
is both developed and revealed by tests and all of life is a test. God
tests my faith through problems, my hope through possessions and my
love through relationships.
SOMETIMES GOD INTENTIONALLY DRAWS BACK AND WE
DONT SENSE HIS CLOSENESS. Depression is a test from God.
Money is a test from God.
Your perspective, how you define your life, will influence how you invest
your time, spend your money, use your talents and value your
relationships.
The Bible says, "Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this
world, but let God transform you inwardly by complete change of your
mind. THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD."
Romans 12:2 (TEV)
God always tests you. God constantly watches your response to people,
problems, success, conflict, illness, disappointment and even the weather!
He even watches the simplest actions such as when you open a door
for someone, pick up a piece of trash, or when you're polite towards
a clerk or waitress.
Every day is an important day and every second is a growth opportunity
to deepen your character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God.
ALL THE TESTS HAVE ETERNAL IMPLICATIONS.
Every time you pass a test, God notices and plans to reward you in
eternity.
The Bible says, " The world and all that is in it belong to The Lord; the
earth and all who live in it are His". Psalm 24:1 (TEV) Our time on
earth, and all the resources, our energy, intelligence, opportunities,
relationships, are all gifts from God He has entrusted into our
stewardship. This concept of stewardship begins with the recognition
that God is the owner of everything and everyone on earth. He puts
earth and all previously listed into our care and management. He
wants us to multiply and be fruitful and dominate in a sense and
become the blessed race of people as will be in the last days who
love Jesus and are in His Kingdom.
Everything you do even simple daily chores has eternal implications.
(boy that makes me feel better about the housework LOL).
It is a very important truth. God says there is direct relationship between
how I use my money and the quality of my spiritual life. How I manage
my money (wordly wealth) determines how much God can trust me
with true riches (spiritual blessings). The Bible says, "If you are
untrustworthy about wordly wealth, who will trust you with the true
riches of heaven?" Luke 16:11 (NLT)
What are the greatest matters God has entrusted to me? Belief in my
spiritual teachings. Care of others. Trust in Him. Life has been a
mystery to me. "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus
Christ lives". Philippians, 3:19-20 (NLT). I believe even while
here on earth our spirits ascend to heaven into the presence of Jesus
and we have a heavenly seat by Jesus.
God bless
