Day Five
Purpose Driven Life
Seeing life from God's view
What is your life? James 4:14

We don't see thing as they are we see them as we are Anais Nin

The way you see your life shapes your life

People have said " life is a carousel  some times you're up sometimes you're down and sometimes you just go around or life is a ten speed bicycle with gears we never use or life is a game or card  you have to play the hand you are dealt.

People picture life with or through

clothes
                                                                jewelry
                                                                cars
                                                                hairstyles

                                                                tattoos

your unspoken life metaphors expectation - values - relations - goals - priorities -

To fulfill the purpose you must challenge conventional thinking
"do not conform yourselves to the standards by a complete change of your mind. then your will be able to know the will of God Romans 12: 2

Life on earth is a test this is a seen on stories through out the bible

God continually test people character - faith - love - integrity - loyalty -

words like trials - temptations - refining - testing - occur more than 200 times in Bible

Adam & Eve failed their test
David  - his on many occasion
But there was many that did past

Joseph
Ruth
Esther
Daniel
Job

Characters Developed & Reveled  & you are always being tested

you will be tested by major changes - delayed promise - impossible problems - unanswered prayers- undeserved criticism- senseless tragedies

God test my faith through problems
God test my hope by how I hand possessions
God test my love through people
God test to see what is in my heart

Life on Earth is a trust

We are stewards of a whatever God gives us
First Job God gave humans was to manage and takes care of God's stuff

What do you have that God hasn't given you and if you all you have is from God Why boast though you have accomplished something on your own 1 Corinthians 4:7

Day 5
Thinking About my purpose
Point to Ponder : Life is a test and a trust

Verse to Remember "unless you are faithful in small matters, you wasn't be faithful in large one " Luke 16:10 (NLT)

Question:  What has happen to me recently that I now realize was a test from God?
What are greatest matters God has entrusted to me?

Day 5 .. Seeing Life From God's View

How you define life determines your destiny. The way you view life is your life metaphor. It's your description of how life works and what you expect from it; it influences your life more than you realize and determines your expectations, values, relationships, goals, and priorities.

To fulfill the purposes God has for you, you will have to base your view on the biblical metaphors of life. These are: Life is a test, life is a trust, and life is a temporary assignment.

Life is a test. God continually tests people's character, faith, obedience, love, integrity, and loyalty. Character is both developed and revealed, and all of life is a test. When you understand that life is a test, you realize that every day is important. God wants you to pass the tests of life, so he never allows the tests to be greater than the grace he gives you to handle them.

Life is a trust. We are to be stewards of whatever God gives us. All we enjoy is to be treated as a trust that God has placed in our hands. If you treat everything as a trust, God promises three rewards in eternity: affirmation, promotion, and celebration.

Life is a test and a trust; the more God gives you, the more responsible he expects you to be.

DAY FIVE

SEEING LIFE FROM GOD'S VIEW

God continually tests people's character, faith, obedience, love, integrity
and loyalty.  Throught trials, testings, temptations and refining.  Character
is both developed and revealed by tests and all of life is a test.  God
tests my faith through problems, my hope through possessions and my
love through relationships.

SOMETIMES GOD INTENTIONALLY DRAWS BACK AND WE
DONT SENSE HIS CLOSENESS.  Depression is a test from God.
Money is a test from God.

Your perspective, how you define your life, will influence how you invest
your time, spend your money, use your talents and value your
relationships.

The Bible says, "Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this
world, but let God transform you inwardly by complete change of your
mind.  THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD."
Romans 12:2 (TEV)

God always tests you.  God constantly watches your response to people,
problems, success, conflict, illness, disappointment and even the weather!
He even watches the simplest actions such as when you open a door
for someone, pick up a piece of trash, or when you're polite towards
a clerk or waitress.

Every day is an important day and every second is a growth opportunity
to deepen your character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God.
ALL THE TESTS HAVE ETERNAL IMPLICATIONS.

Every time you pass a test, God notices and plans to reward you in
eternity.

The Bible says, " The world and all that is in it belong to The Lord; the
earth and all who live in it are His".  Psalm 24:1 (TEV)  Our time on
earth, and all the resources, our energy, intelligence, opportunities,
relationships, are all gifts from God He has entrusted into our
stewardship.  This concept of stewardship begins with the recognition
that God is the owner of everything and everyone on earth.  He puts
earth and all previously listed into our care and management.  He
wants us to multiply and be fruitful and dominate in a sense and
become the blessed race of people as will be in the last days who
love Jesus and are in His Kingdom.

Everything you do even simple daily chores has eternal implications.
(boy that makes me feel better about the housework LOL).

It is a very important truth.  God says there is direct relationship between
how I use my money and the quality of my spiritual life.  How I manage
my money (wordly wealth) determines how much God can trust me
with true riches (spiritual blessings).  The Bible says, "If you are
untrustworthy about wordly wealth, who will trust you with the true
riches of heaven?"  Luke 16:11 (NLT)

What are the greatest matters God has entrusted to me?  Belief in my
spiritual teachings.  Care of others.  Trust in Him.  Life has been a
mystery to me.  "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus
Christ lives".    Philippians, 3:19-20 (NLT).  I believe even while
here on earth our spirits ascend to heaven into the presence of Jesus
and we have a heavenly seat by Jesus.

God bless
MAY XOXO

Day 5
Purpose Driven Life
Seeing Life From God's View

People Say life is a carousel - ups and downs it is really hard with out God - when you put God in the driver seat it is alot easier alot better!!!

How Do people picture life?
Well I see it with many times tinted glasses - not always seeing it vivedly clear I don't see life just based on clothes or jewlry or what or how my hair is but I do base it on how my life stands in Christ - How I stand up - when I don't stand up people seem to flock to me - the wrong kind (meaning when I was following the crowd... going with the material world the material world came and gravitated to me.. when I don't and I follow the narrow road.. it is lonely but tell you what... it may be lonely or actually not.. it is quiet... but HE is there and I can spend my time with HIM...

Yes God does test . and testing he does daily - internet testing is a big one what we view is a big one what jokes we listen to and what we choose to pose -  the words we choose to use - learning to not use a word just cause it is the in thing

Testing us during our trials I did not know he did this but I know he allowed this and how we handled it refined us ...

Question?
What happened to me recently that I now realize was a test from God? What are the greatest matters God has entrusted me?

I know that God and I were dealing with things and when I strayed and chose to go to places that were not Godly places that were not Godly I failed... I did ... and I am not proud of it.. but I did and I have asked for forgiveness... but I failed...

God has entrusted me with my art my music my poems my lyrics my communications skills and I need to use them for the best of my ability ...

Father thanks for all that you have entrusted me with ... and thanks for this study... thanks for all those that participate... thanks for all that even look in... thanks for all that come in and read even if they don't do it.. thanks for all that it has a heart or hits the heart..

Thanks Father for this study...

in your precious NAME Amen
