Day 7
Purpose Driven life
The Reason for Everything

Everything comes from God alone
Everything lives by his power
and
everything is for his glory
Romans 11:36

The Lord has made everything for His purpose
Proverbs 16:4

it is all 4 HIM

Show Glory 4 God
Wht is the glory of God? it is who God is. It is the essence of his nature, the weight of his importance, the radieance of his splendor, the demonstration of his power and the atmosphere of his presence. God's glory is the expression of his goodness and all his other intrinsic eternal qualities

Where is his glory - everywhere !!!

first glory - garden of eden
then - Mose - tabernacle
then - temple
then - through - JESUS
now - through - Church

was portrayed -
consuming fire
cloud
thunder
smoke
brilliant light

bible says " the city does not need the Sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light "
Revelations 21:23

God's best light is portrayed in
JESUS
"the Son is the radiance of God's glory"
Hebrews 1:3

we are commanded to
recognize, honor, declare, praise, reflect, and live his glory.

none of us give God full glory he deserves from our lives

How Can I bring Glory to God?

by worshiping Him
by living other believers
by becoming like Christ
by servingothers with our gifts
by telling others about HIM

What wil you live for ????

living the rest of your life for the Glory of God will require a change in your priorities, your schedules, your relationships, and everything else.

It wil sometimes mean choosing a difficult path instead of an easy one

Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know personally and intimately the one who invited us to God " 2 Peter 1:2

1. believe - God loves you and made you for His purpose
2. recieve - Jesus into your life as Lord and Savior

Day 7
thinking about my purpose
Point to ponder : all about HIM
Verse to Remember : "for Everything comes from God, alone, Everything live by HIS power and Everything is for HIS Glory " Romans 11:36
Question to Consider: Where is my daily routine - can I become more aware of God's glory?

Day 7  -- The Reason for Everything

The ultimate goal of the universe is to show the glory of God. It is the reason for everything that exists, including you. God made it all for his glory. Without God's glory, there would be nothing.

The glory of God is who God is. It is the essence of his nature, the weight of his importance, the radiance of his splendor, the demonstration of his power, and the atmosphere of his presence. God's glory is best seen in Jesus Christ. He, the Light of the world, illuminates God's nature. Because of Jesus, we are no longer in the dark about what God is really like

There are many ways to bring glory to God, but they can be summarized in God's five purposes for your life. We bring God glory by worshiping him, loving other believers, becoming like Christ, serving others with our gifts, and by telling others about him.

It's time to settle this issue. Who are you going to live for--yourself or God? Right now, God is inviting you to live for his glory by fulfilling the purposes he made you for. Real life begins by committing yourself completely to Jesus Christ. If you are not sure you have done this, all you need to do is receive and believe. The Bible promises, "To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." Will you accept God's offer?

Day 7 my write up for it ...
the reason for everything

you know I know or knew it was bout HIS GLORY

but this chapter  just expressed it much better ...

stating everything comes from God alone everything lives by his power and everything is fro his glory Romans 11:36

showing us it is all for his Glory

tells about the first glory from garden of eden to now our church

how he was portrayed just amazed me but then I got to thiking about some of the stories like abraham fire in the subh and Saul a Cloud which blinded him and he became Paul....  the apostles brillian light and they all knew they were in HIS presensense

Giving God Glory is our ultimate test something we are to serve

Question to considre - where is my daily routine can I become more aware of God's glory

my daily routine sometimes forets to give my all to HIM so I need to be more aware of HIM and less aware of what I do...

Father forgive me.. for not putting you first...
forgive me for not... making you a priority...
in your name
amen

DAY 7

THE REASON FOR EVERYTHING

Everything comes from God alone.
Everything LIVES by His POWER,
and everything is for His glory.  Romans 11;36 (LB)

The Lord has made everything for His own purposes.  Proverbs 16:4
(NLT)

It's all for Him.

God's glory is the expression of His goodness and all his other intrinsic,
eternal qualities.

Where is the glory of God?  Just look around.  Everything created by God
reflects His glory in some way.  In Nature we learn that God is powerful,
that He enjoys variety, loves beauty, is organized and is wise and creative.
The Bible says, "The heavens declare the glory of God".  Psalm 19:1 (NEV)

Jesus came to earth so we could fully understand God's glory.  "The Word
became flesh and lived among us.  We saw His glory .... a glory full of
grace and truth.  James 4:4 (Msg)

God's inherent glory is what He possess because He is God.  It is His nature.
We cannot add anything to this glory, just as it is impossible for us to make
the sun shine any brighter.

Sin is loving anything more than God.  Refusing to give God glory is prideful
rebellion, what caused satan's fall and ours.

None of us have given God the full glory He deserves from our lives.  This
is the worst sin and the biggest mistake we can make.  On the other hand,
living for God's glory is the greatest achievement we can accomplish with
our lives.  God says, "They are my own people and I created them to bring
me glory".  Isaiah 43:7 (TEV)  So it ought to be the SUPREME GOAL OF
OUR LIVES.

We are commanded to recognize His glory, honor His glory, declare His
glory, praise His glory, reflect His glory, and live for His glory.  l Chronicles 16:24;
Psalm 29:1; 66-2; 96-7; 2 Corinthians 3-18.

Why give God glory?  Because He deserves it.  We owe Him every honor
we can possibly give.

Jesus told the Father, "I brought glory to You on earth by doing everything
You told me to do"  John 17:4 (NLT)  Jesus honored the Father by fulfilling
his purpose on earth.  We honor God the same way.  When anything in
creation fulfill its purpose, it brings glory to God.  Birds bring glory to God
by flying, chirping, nesting and other bird-like activities.  St Irenaeus said,
"The glory of God is a human fully alive".

There are many ways to bring God glory but they can be summed up in
God's five purposes for your life.

We bring God glory by worshipping Him.  Worship is our first responsibility
to God.  We worship God by enjoying Him.  Enjoying Him and His Presence
in every aspect of our lives.  God wants our worship to be motived by love,
thanksgiving and delight, not duty.  John Piper notes, " God is most glorified
in us by our being most satisfied in Him".

The Bible says, " Whoever accepts and trust the Son, gets in on everything,
life complete and forever!"  John 3:36a (Msg)

QTC  Where in my daily routine can I become more aware of God's
glory?

Birds singing, a beautiful day, a day where almost everything goes
perfectly, the sky, already I know these things are God's glory.  But I
should see it or look for it more in people.  This chapter says everything
God created reflects His glory.  So even our relatives or people we
know that we really dislike or know are wicked, some part, it may be
a small part, reflects their Creator.  I must look for this and pray that
my life as an example, my behaviour, enlarges this small part of the
wicked and it spreads to salvation and change of attitude and hearts.
Those I love so much and who love me so much I know is God's glory
and gift.  But doesn't the bible say it is easy to do good to those who
do good to you.  So I must look for God's glory in the painful times
too, the rainy days, I already see it in the extraordinarly and
ordinary beautiful but in the horrible;  even tragedies point towards
His glory as He has a reason for permitting them if not directly causing
them.  As a testimony to Him.  Faith is tried in the fire and comes out
more than gold.  I must spend more time in thanksgiving.  This brings
Him glory.  Trusting Him is one of the main ways of bringing Him
glory.  My trust in Him I pray is increasing, slowly but surely, daily.

God bless
