Hi everyone, I'm gramanan and hve just recently joined the group. I'm not very adept at using the computer yet but am slowly learning new things all the time. I'm 64 years old, have been married to my sweetie for 46 years. We were very young when we got married and started our family right away. In those days if you were 17 and not married and starting a family you were considered a spinster. I have four grown children, 3 girls and a boy who is the baby of the family.
I've had bad health for many years , but am learning to adapt. I've had 36 major surgeries for different things. I have asthma, diabetes type II, GERDS, RLS. sjogrens syndrome, and fibromyalgia. The fibro gives me the most problem with pain. I was recently put on Lyrica and it seems to be helping a lot. I'm so glad to find the group as a support system really helps with chronic pain. I'm blessed with a very supportive family but if you haven't been there you can't really understand.
I waited 45 years for my beautiful grand daughter, Katie. She was well worth the wait! My oldest daughter is Kimberley, she has her own business doing books for a construction company, [she lives with us and is a great help] my middle daughter is Rena, she lives in Louisiana and works for a RV park outfit. My youngest daughter is Glynis, she does data entry for a hospital conglomerate, and she lives with us also. We call them our boomerang kids because they always come back home. We love having them here.
My husband has advanced diabetes and has to take insulin twice a day. I'm hoping he can retire and just do his church work that he so enjoys.
I have a black and white cat named Domino, he rules the house. I have a container garden in our back patio with a bird bath. My computer is in front of the kitchen window and he comes and sits at the window and dreams of conquest.
That is about it for information on me and my family I'm hoping to get aquainted with all of you. lol gramanan
