Hi,  I am new to the group.  I have heard from Debra on occasion and have learned so much from her.  I appreciate the guidance.
I have been off of work for almost four years now.  It started with a little foot surgery that turned into a nightmare.  Staff infection in the bone,  I also have osteoporosis in my back .  I am have leg pain because of the way I walk to baby my feet and back.  I also need surgery on a hand, but am nervous about that.
It sounds like I am in my 80's when actually I will be 56 in April.
I realize that my friends and family are tired of me being "ILL" all of the time.  I try not to mention it.  I have one little grandson that is 14 that notices the dark circles and my limp.  He gives me comfort and even a little sympathy, which I really don't crave.  I would just like to feel better.
I am so tired of my friends telling me how lucky I am to be able to stay home and not work.  I would rather feel well and work.  I get lonely and depressed.  Funny they don't notice that ....
Enough whining.  I am blessed with a loving family and so glad that I found this group.  Thanks for all of the posts.  I do feel better after reading them..
Deb
